"Best bang for your buck around. You can't beat the location if you want to enjoy the beach. It's close to the fun on the pier and you can still walk downtown relatively easily (although it is a good distance for a stroll). There are many eateries close by for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The little pool they share with the sister hotel next door made for a refreshing dip and the hot tub was enjoyable to relax in. The staff were kind and helpful although sometimes there's no one at the front desk so no help when that occurs.
Parking is very tight, as it goes in cities like this so be aware that if you don't get a space then you'll have to track one down on the surrounding streets. And you need to be realistic that at this price, you are not getting a super fancy, luxurious resort hotel. It's a cute little boutique hotel, they're old buildings and some of that show, but it came off as beautiful character to me personally. So make sure you have proper expectations and a good perspective going in.
They do a fun little happy hour with some wine, crackers and cheese as well as a continental breakfast that included pastries, pie, fruit, bagels, cereal, waffles, juice and coffee.
It was just what we were looking for and we really enjoyed our time there!"
