Property over looks the beach by boardwalk, the only thing is the balcony rooms to the street have the view of a new construction site going on. Overall it’s a beautiful stay and nicely kept room.

Great view. Great unexpected amenities like spa robes and slippers. Patio furniture was comfortable for prime ocean viewing. This was our second stay and we lucked out that this time we had amazing views of the fireworks for the big dippers 100th bday celebration. So fun. We will be back

Definitely would come back again. Close to the boardwalk and wharf. Room was clean but floor was a bit dusty. Bathroom was nice but wished there were some counter space for personal items.

Room was nice and clean. Doors were older and I didn’t sleep well with homeless and drugs right outside my door Figured this would be a safe town at night. But I was wrong. Day visits only !!

Stayed in room 213 ocean view, it was very loud in the mornings before 8AM. Lots of people talking on/around the balcony area of where our window was. Also the back window towards the back parking lot, we couldn't close the curtain. The maids put the curtain on wrong and we weren't able to close at all. Also there was NO SCREEN attached to the back window which was on the 2nd floor. For the PRICE, wouldn't stay again.

The property gives a great view of Santa Cruz beach. Morning coffee wasn’t available until after 8 AM. The property seems a little older and worn down.

Room #317 - Saturday, 04/20/24. The room was so bad that I felt the need to check for bed bugs before we settled in. I was not comfortable letting my kids settle in until we checked. The room was dusty, moldy and disgusting. We communicated with staff, they said they would re-clean. They claimed the gunk on the bathroom floor was glue from when it was installed and could not be cleared up. We got back to our room at about 10pm when the board walk fully closed down. The floor panels were hollow and bowing under my 18 month old baby, indicating that it was a floating floor. There is no glue involved with a floating floor as this. Upon further inspection, my husband was actually able to easily remove the gunk with his finger. This indicates that it was not glue, but dirt, bacteria and mold from neglected moisture damage. It was disgusting and I'm glad I didn't let my baby crawl around in there as she wanted. You could tell the floors hadn't been mopped in quite some time, the walls were disgusting, the ac had a layer of dust and dead bugs, the inside of the barn style door, to the bathroom, had a layer of dust that made us question the last time the room was truly cleaned. My husband communicated these issues with staff and showed pictures. They sent someone to re-clean it, but it was obvious they made no attempt to clean the walls or floors. Due to the filthy condition of the rooms and the fact that you can't get breakfast there, the location is absolutely not worth $450.

We had a spacious king with balcony room and a front row seat to the beach. Loved the view, the patio. Location cannot be beat. Construction next door a bit annoying but would stay here again!!

We had a wonderful stay here, there was some construction going on next door but other than that we loved it, convenient location next to the beach/boardwalk, lovely staff.

Other than the construction occurring next door. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Can't beat the ocean view with the proximity of the boardwalk. It was a very enjoyable get away.

We were quite surprised at the condition of the hotel room. First let me say that the staff was very friendly, the view from the room was world class (Ocean / Boardwalk) and everything was conveniently located and walkable. The room itself though was like a motel 6 - cheap/dirty feeling. The room felt grimy. The bathroom was moldy and the metal elements rusty. The furnishings were dated and the overall cleanliness just wasn’t to our standards. For these reasons we will not be returning to Casablanca in the future.

Second time we’ve stayed here and it’s a great property. This time we stayed in the king room with ocean view. It wasn’t bad, but honestly felt a little disappointed. I think next time we’ll just stick with a room with a balcony. Those have much nicer and newer bathrooms (the showers in those rooms are our all time favorite) and also much cheaper. Overall, I feel like the ocean view rooms are just outdated and a bit over priced for what they are.

Nice hotel, across the street from the beach, pier and boardwalk. Stayed in recently remodeled room. (Loud) noise from construction of a new hotel started at 7:30am - not cool.
