This hotel is a little gem. Every effort is made to make guests happy and comfortable. Staff is delightful. Food is delicious. Grounds are lush and beautiful. Great beach for walking and swimming.

I loved this small hotel. Service was excellent, friendly people, good WIFi, good food, small clean beach in front of it. Going to santa marta by bus was easy and fast. My room had a/c so I could sleep w/o sweating. Highly recommen it if you dont like impersonal big modern hotels

Casa Verano is beautiful! and the staff is AMAZING. The only negatives are that the beach can get pretty load when the locals are blasting music on the weekend days, and there aren't many restaurant options within walking distance. That said, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Verano.

This hotel deserves 6 stars. Everything was excellent, but what stood out was the level of service the staff provides. Eder, the manager, went above and beyond to help us with getting the yellow fever vaccine. Luis, the waiter, was attentive, helpful, and courteous. Victor was always ready to help with a smile. Above all, Brian is a master in his craft. He was passionate about his job and showed a genuine desire to make our stay fun and memorable. You guys are the true definition of warm hospitality. You rock! ☆☆☆☆☆☆

Amazing place with excellent service. They are amazing at proactively seeing to every need. I would absolutely stay at this place again and recommend it to anyone traveling to this location. Sit and enjoy a dinner prepared by Dona Ana, you will not be disappointed. And Luis the afternoon evening bartender also does not dissapoint, both are fantastic. My husband and I loved this place. Very unique, cozy atmosphere, great beds, the pool area is excellent and the staff are amazing (just to name a few Johan, Luis, Hector, Jesus, Jessica, and more that I'm forgetting, but all were so kind and helpful). This is a little private property and is so just beautiful. The breakfast is also great with various delicious options. Our stay at this hotel was one of the best part of our trip to Santa Marta. A true gem.

You can tell the people who work here really care. The attention to the details is amazing and you're treated as special from the moment you arrive. The landscaping and decor is finely detailed, giving the feel of a royal garden. The photos do not do it justice. The food is wonderfully prepared from fresh local ingredients. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The sun sets over their private beachfront! We WILL be coming back. You should too.

I have done a lot of travelling and I have never received the level of care and service to that we had here. Every single staff member was incredible. Special shoutout goes to Hector who went above and beyond in so many ways. He helped us change our dates outside of the designated window, rebooked our bus tickets, and was so kind and considerate. I cannot say enough about him. Beyond the staff, the place is well maintained and quaint. We loved our stay so much.

Casa Verano Beach is a little piece of paradise. From the welcome cocktail, to the delicious breakfast, and beautiful surroundings, this is the perfect place to stay in Santa Marta. It’s removed from the city so it is quiet, and you have direct access to the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the property is well maintained. And while I could go on about the facilities, it is the staff at this resort who really make you feel at home. Hector, Victor, Leo and the whole team are exceptional. Special mention goes to Hector who went above and beyond in so many ways. He is truly a cut above. By the time we left, we felt we were leaving our home and friends. The owners of this hotel have done an amazing job bringing this special place to life. We would go back in a heartbeat.
