Stayed on a budget trip and the hotel delivered on location and cleanliness. Room was very clean. Small fridge provided and air con too at no extra cost. Bed was super comfy. The property is dated and in need of some attention BUT was perfectly adequate for our needs on quick break.

Hotel Antares suited us just fine, for our travel purposes. A friend and myself spent 2 nights at this hotel. We didn’t spend any time in the hotel, other than getting showered, dressed and sleeping, so for our purpose, it was fine. We didn’t want to spend more on a hotel that we knew we wouldn’t be spending any time in. There are no amenities, so if you’re looking for amenities, look into other hotels nearby. It was clean, the staff we spoke to was friendly and helpful, the hotel is just basic. To note, no tv’s. The location was great, close to all restaurants, shops and several calas in the area, all within walking distance. I would say the hotel was a step above a hostel, clean and very basic. Location is key, so 100% for location.

There was mold on the curtain and a weird smell that stayed in the room. It was a basic old room, stains on walls/pipes. Not renovated. We had issues with the toilet. Water started overflowing from the toilet tank. The worker said that if you aren’t gentle when you sit on the toilet, the lever that stops the water from refilling can get stuck so the water doesn’t know when to stop. We were able to call and leave voicemail (there’s no phone in room, you need to use own phone). Someone called back in 5-10 min and someone came to look at it within 15 min. You can hear everything including ppl in their rooms! Not for light sleepers at all. Next to a hotel that has live loud music in the evening. I think it’s very weird that at the end of my stay I have to take out the trash or I’ll get fined. Safe was broken. It was in the prime location of Cala D’or! Check in was easy. Walking distance to restaurants and nightlife and the beach. There’s street parking but might have to walk a little. Had a little fridge. Only thin blankets on the bed, had to turn off AC at times bc it was too cold. I guess it’s what you expect from a 1 star hotel and the pricing? It was one of the cheaper options found.

Lovely hotel

Lovely small and friendly hotel, rooms are cleaned daily and are immaculate, rooms look like they've been recently updated. Would recommend to friends

Very nice budget hotel could not be better placed

The hotel is a little tired but don't let that put you off. The rooms may be in need of updating but are very clean and comfortable. Only gripe was the shower base was rusty so looked rough, but it was clean Location is perfect. from the front door it is less than 5 mins to the beach (Cala Gran) and 10 mis from the next beach (Cala D'Or). At the back of the hotel they have a fab little bar (on the street running parallel to the front). Just cross the road from here and there are 30 - 40 bars and restaurants right there. Absolutely perfect location and the staff are very friendly. 10 minute walk to the harbour which is very nice too. We hired a boat motorised catamaran for 2 hours at only 70 Euro. You can sail in and out of all of the lagoons, anchor up and jump in for a swim. Fab. I would absolutely stay here in this hotel again. Used the "Hoppa" transfer bus, booked on line. Dropped off and picked up right outside the hotel

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff

Just spent 3 days at hotel antlers and the staff couldn't have been more helpful Right in the centre of the resort so close to the beach shops bars and restaurants Only thing I would say is that if you are going at the height of the season take advantage and higher the fan as our room was a bit warm Other than that a fabulous stay and would definitely rate higher than a 1 star
