Center city

It was good. Check in was accepted about 1 pm. It was nice because I traveled 13 hours in a bus. Breakfast was pretty good. Only one complaint: 2 or 3 Kind of fruits in a tropical island!

Towels !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Stay was very nice up until we checked out and the reception told us there was a towel missing out of the room. She was adamant that we had taken this and the case was the towel was never put in the room in the first instance. The hotel charges us 10 CUC which is about £8.00. It was not about the money but the fact that the hotel accused us of stealing a towel this completely spoilt our entire stay

Has a pool - but no other reason to stay here

This hotel has a swimming pool - the only hotel in Santiago de Cuba that does (I think). Thats why I stayed there. In Cuba's heat it was refreshing. But you have a sacrifice a lot and lower your expectations about everything else about this hotel.

Ich habe nur meinen Aufenthalt verlängert, da ich flexibel bleiben möchte und nicht weiß wann ich weiter Reise. Bei der ersten Buchung gab es Probleme zwischen Expedia und das Hotel, als ich ankam lag keine Reservierung vor, musste somit die Kaution hinterlegen. Aber nach einer E-Mail an Expedia und das Hotel, hat sich alles erledigt. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Personal bemüht sich es dennoch irgendwie in Schuss zu halten. Der Pool wird täglich gereinigt, auch wenn es nicht ganz sauber ist, aber liegt auch daran das viele Leute im Pool essen und trinken. Wenn die angesprochenen werden hören sie auf, aber kaum dreht sich der Rettungsschwimmer um, geht's weiter. Badezimmer etwas arg dunkel, aber es wird geputzt und die Handtücher sind sauber. Für den Preis und die Cubanische Sternenklasse ist es ok.

La struttura avrebbe bisogno di un RESTYLING senza dubbio , detto questo la parte positiva è il PERSONALE sempre disponibile , la parte negativa gli ospiti locali ( forse non abituati viaggiare si comportano non da adulti ma peggio dei bambini , urlano, lasciano disordine ,non rispettano le regole ) Io avevo colazione inclusa ( continentale riportato sulla prenotazione ) i primi 2 giorni a buffet perche c'erano vari ospiti poi con pochi ospiti niente buffet e poca scelta su richiesta

Nonostante la struttura sia vecchia e non ristrutturata devo che che il Personale con la sua professionalità disponibilità e cordialità riesce a sopperire a quanto riportato sopra Io adoro Cuba e i Cubani ma devo dire che non sono ancora pronti culturalmente essere ospitati in un Hotel ( sono troppo chiassosi e noncuranti del rispetto per altri ospiti ) pertanto questo determina una perdita di valore dell’hotel Dispiace dire questo ma è la realtà Ritornerò solo perché ripeto Personale Super Ottimo

It was a pleasant stay, very clean room with nice air conditioner, hot water, running water. The breakfast was ok but it could be better. The hotel is well located with easy access to taxi and nightlife. Front desk, bar and housekeeper personnel were charming, polite and helpful at all times.

Para el precio, muy bueno. El cuarto limpio y buen aire acondicionado. Para no ser un 5 estrellas , esta bien. El desayuno no muy bueno... el personal por favor !!! MAs q amables ! Sobre todo los del bar del lobby q cada mañana me hacían mi café y siempre la mejor atención. Hasta las muchachas q limpian demasiado amables.. todo excepto la muchacha de la barra de la piscina, ella muy prepotente y mal educada. Muy antipática se comportó conmigo y familia. Su servicio fue pésimo. En general, me gustó

A hotel staff (named Loren or Dagoberto) followed me when I went out the hotel and walked around the city, and lead me to a restaurant. After eating a set of lunch, he said he didn’t have money with him. I paid for him at the restaurant as he said he would leave his expense at the hotel reception later (at agreed time) but he didn’t come to the hotel before I checked out. I explained the situation to some of the receptionists at different times, and although they apparently knew him as their colleagues, they were not helpful at all to resolve the issue. I even suspect it was fraud ring.
