The staff is great, location is prime. It is close to pretty much everything you'd want to see in the city with a metro station within 50 yards and a bus station literally outside the door. The condition of the property is not the best, lightning is dim and very basic.

I would like to say that I enjoyed my stay at this property and while everything wasn’t exactly top notch I also didn’t pay very much to stay there and also have a breakfast included. I liked the central location but most of all I really enjoyed how friendly your staff was from the cleaning people to the people at the front desk. They were excellent

In its day, it was likely magnificent but now it is old and showing its age. It was clean enough, staff were helpful and the buffet breakfast was good. The entranceway and surrounding area is a bit worse.

Staff were always excellent. Floors in room were very dirty and had to be cleaned, but they did that and very well when asked. Single pane glass on St Martin side means a lot of traffic noise in the room.

Well run classic hotel in a convenient locale!

I stayed here 7 days total over 3 bookings as I was in/out of Santiago for flights to Rapa Nui, the Atacama & Torres del Paine. Each stay was great. Why? Well, first, unlike the original place that I booked when I arrived in Santiago who flat out lied about the quality of their wifi (it barely worked even at their front desk!), this place has wifi that actually works which they proved after I had to call over to them and confirm that it did before I had to get a taxi over. Once there, even though I had only booked 1 hour before, I got upgraded to a huge room for my first 2 nights w/a mini fridge (all rooms have them). All staff was helpful-all of them spoke good English which was helpful as my Spanish is marginal. Breakfast was pretty good overall-lots of options & they had amazing pastries/cakes. Further, as the hotel is set way back there was no street noise. The location is actually great as well-highly convenient-right next to a supermarket and a few restaurants, close to the metro, about a 15 min. walk to Plaza de Armas. The kicker is that it is about a 5 min. walk to the end of the line for the "Centro Aeropuerto" bus line direct to the airport-each way I paid about $2 US to get back and forth to the airport 5 different times in about 30-45 mins. I save a ton of taxi money. This is not a super modern hotel in an upscale neighborhood like BellaVista but all the amenities were there and the rooms are quite spacious and well designed. And the price was just right!

Es un hotel caro para las instalaciones que tiene, el Staff es amable, está bien ubicado pero le falta mucho en mantenimiento. En mi habitación no servían las cortinas, las ventanas sucias por fuera, las puertas de clóset no corrían, las camas dejan mucho que desear, el teléfono de la habitación no servía. No lo recomiendo.

Esta propiedad tiene un problema con la limpieza de sus alfombras y aires acondicionados. No apto para alergicos o asmaticos. Procuren pedir habitacion SIN alfombra esto cambiara positivamente su experiencia en el hotel. Desayuno excelente, personal amable, mucamas serviciales pero no van a resolver el problema de años sin limpieza en alfombras.

Quando cheguei, o sistema tinha dado algum erro que vendeu mais quartos do que tinham. Eles nos ofereceram um quarto bom que supriu nossas necessidades, com alguns poréns, mas tudo certo, fiquei grata que não fui expulsa meia noite (a hora que cheguei) e pediram desculpas pelo inconveniente. A superlotação refletiu em elevadores, café da manha lotado no qual nem havia copo/prato pra gente se servir. E as comidas acabavam muito rápido, foi uma experiência ruim no geral. Mas o quarto estava bem limpo e a cama era super confortável. Então nossa estadia, em momento de urgência, foi positiva. Mas se eu estivesse em viagem de lazer seria diferente.
