Peu mieux faire...

--- Des étoiles probablement pour les services: nombreux restaurant, piscine, plage, etc...mais certainement pas pour la netteté de la salle de bain (les joints mériterais d'être frottés) et la froideur de la chambre. ++ Petit déj. sympa, internet filaire dans les chambre. - dommage que le personnel ne parle pas plus anglais.

Lovely hotel - very much recommended

Overall we were very impressed with the Gloria Resort in Sanya. Not quite up to the 5 Star standard it claims, but a good 4 Star hotel by Western standards. The location is fantatsic - literally a two minute walk to the beautiful Yalong Bay. We had a Deluxe Ocean View room which had a superb view overlooking the sea and surrounding countryside & mountains. Hotel facilities were very good, rooms were spacious & well equipped, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The quality of food in the hotel was only reasonable, and the Japanese restaurant on the second floor was quite pricey. We availed of the barbecue buffet option a couple of nights (down by poolside), which came to approximately €18 per person - the food was only so so and the dish options limited. On balance though a very enjoyable stay, and the hotel offered good value for money relative to some of the International Resorts operating in Yalong Bay (Hilton, Sheraton etc.), most of which were almost double the price of Gloria.
