"Friendly enough gent once we found him to confirm our on-line booking & get key. Stairway up to the rooms in main building is very steep and narrow. With mobility issues priorly mentioned it was odd that they assuumed this would work...NOT! My wife nearly fell on 3 occasions. There was toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer, air fryer, & poacher...some milk, eggs, tea, juice, 6 eggs, lil bit of butter, (expired, crystalized honey), open sugar pot, a lil tub of open corn flakes, 5 pieces bread...no expiry dates so use at your own risk. horrible lumpy matress, shower with trickle power, toilet with swinging seat so bad we nearly broke a hip, extremely grubby walls, shower drain, splat spot mirrors, dusty crumby carpet and we actually found a playing card under bed from previous guests. The laneway into the property is extremely narrow bumpy, poor visibility with sheep running round about and on the road....and when you arrive don't be surprised to have alpacas up close and personal & dogs, horses, meeting and greeting you right next to the car. Parking is not great."

"Looking in need of a good makeover, old carpets and tired looking. The mattress in our double room had springs you could constantly feel and a dip in the middle. There was also a frequent sound of running water like a drainpipe outside our room but it's wasn't raining. Pipes in other rooms running through ours?"

"The hotel interior and exterior are simewhat tired and need redecorating. Main lift was not working so had to use a service elevator. Insufficient staff at breakfast, although the 2 waitresses were rushed off their feet!"

"A group of 6 of us, including two from Usa are full of compliments. A lovely family run business. Very clean throughout. Lovely welcome on arrival. Great evening meal and breakfast. Excellent location with good parking. Would definitely stay again."

"Due to own circumstances we were late to the guest house, Lawrence was so accommodating and came and settled us in. We had a beautiful room the peach room and was so spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast is help yourself with a range of cereal, toast and fruit 🍇. We loved sitting in the garden for breakfast and in the evenings once back the view is stunning 😍. Plenty of parking. Lawrence and Ashley were really friendly and helped with anything you needed . The location is perfect with short drives to the waterfalls and Aberavon beach . I would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere that can bring you a little peace. Perfect location for lots of different walks :) we will be recommending to friends and hopefully be back soon."
