“The property was beautiful but a little of town. Very limited taxi/cabs available therefore one has to ensure that they are organized and pre-book transportation. The staff was extremely accommodating and very polite and helpful”

“Cheap attic room. Unfortunately TV in neighbouring room boomed all night . We phoned the assistance number and the parson who answered said she would sort it out (she was off site). Nothing was done all night . We and other guests tried to get someone in room to respond by banging loudly at 4am. We assumed either dead or heavily intoxicated . We asked staff in morning and they said no one was in that room and cleaner must have left TV on. All pretty crap, no sleep and no apology . Sad that a...

“Lovely little annex, amazing space for the money and great location. All the staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfasts were nice, quick - the porridge is delicious. Only complaints are the fridge was dirty and there’s no blind over the glass at the door and the street lamp light gets through when you’re trying to sleep. Would stay again!”

“I had a one night stay and needed basic accommodation, this sufficed. If staying be aware, I hadnt realised check in is before 7pm unless you advise (it was on the literature I just hadn't read it). My only hesitation to stay again is all the locks are electronically operated, and no one is on site. To feel safer as a lone traveller I would prefer to have a chain, or internal lock to the door in addition, in case the electrics failed at night and my room door would effectively be open.”

“My wife and I loved this place. It was very charming and the staff were great. The food was excellent as we had dinner and breakfast. We had the small plates for dinner because the restaurant was booked full but our small plate dishes were excellent. Quite frankly I would have the small plates for dinner rather than a full dinner. I would definitely go back to this place and recommend to friends traveling to Scotland”

“Booked an executive double room which was very spacious and had a large bath too. A bit dated overall but clean and we had a lovely overnight stay. Dinner and breakfast were both good quality with gluten free options. I enjoyed using the pool and sauna (pre book) however disappointed the hot tub snd steam room were not in operation. Also, the spa was closed both Sunday and Monday. Hotel is set in extensive grounds and is a 15 minute walk into Aberfoyle. Plenty EV charging points at the hotel....

“Excellent, comfortable and clean chalet with good view’s across the loch Rannoch and the hills. The climb up to the chalet was okay after we got used to it. Very good views of mountain Schiehallion from the chalet. The car parking was tight.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here for a group of five. Nicely laid out property and great views of the valley, hills, and mountains. The property is nice and modern. I found the beds comfortable, but my friend said they were a little soft and bouncy. We loved that we could watch Netflix and television easily. We will definitely stay here again. ”
