โNot wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. Absolutely loved the decor with a theme throughout the place. I love the charm of the old homes and this one didnโt disappoint. If I get back to Staunton I will definitely stay here! โ
โWonderful single night stay at this hotel, I was uncertain where to book when there is so much choice but would 100% stay here again. We had such a warm welcome from Zoe on reception who was helpful and patient with our questions. The room was perfect for us and our three children with plenty of space for bags (so much better than the Hyatt hotel we had stayed at in Washington the previous two nights at more than double the price). โWe loved Love Ridge Mountain Lodge, we stayed at the Kennedy Ridge! It was clean and well kept! Communication was great with the owners and everything is available in the home! Very peaceful and relaxing! We even met Chester! The property cat, she is loving and hung out with us for a bit! Awesome experience, if you are visiting or from Virginia we recommend the lodge! โ
โThis property is stunningly beautiful. A wedding venue with lovely lodging. Super comfortable bed in a nice room. Nothing negative to say. We were the only couple in the building until about bedtime and someone else came in. We heard them arrive to the room next door, and no noise after that. The town of Staunton is also a sweet, contemporary mountain town. Do stay here if you get the chance. โ

The room, the bathroom and in particular the bed were clean. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The server in the restaurant was very kind and was making sure that every guest was enjoying the meal.
On the other hand, the carpet on the room floor was actually outdated as I already read from other guests' review opinions.

โThe first thing I noticed was everything you see when you arrive is geared towards making you feel welcome. This continued with checking in. Fast, friendly and helpful. The whole experience continued through the whole stay. We got several texts asking how we were enjoying our time and asking if we needed anything just ask. Small details that stand apart from others.
