Da versucht ein Hotel sich auf den Lorbeeren aus der Vergangenheit auszuruhen. Das Hotel ist alt und sollte unbedingt renoviert werden. Das dazugehörige Lokal grenzt nahezu an Frechheit. Leider total überteuert und nur 3 - 4 warme Hauptspeisen. Ein Salat oder allgemein Gemüse = Fehlanzeige! Ich hatte mir extra dieses Hotel ausgesucht, da ich dachte: toll ein schönes gut eingesessenes deutsches Hotel, leider wurde ich maßlos enttäuscht. Der Preis zu dem was geboten wird, steht in keinem Verhältnis. Sehr, sehr schade

Leider gibt es nicht so viel positives zu berichten. Wir haben am 03.10.2024 ein Comfort-Doppelzimmer vom 22.12. bis 25. 12. gebucht. Am 20.12. bekamen wir eine Mail in der man uns mitteilte das das Hotel in dieser Zeit Betriebsferien hat. Nicht weiter schlimm, wir hatten ja ohne Frühstück gebucht. Aber nachts ganz allein in diesem großen Hotel war schon etwas komisch! Wir mussten feststellen das die linke Tür der Duschabtrennung kaputt war und sich nicht schließen lies! Der Fernseher ließ sich nicht vernünftig bedienen, ich vermute eine leere Batterie in der Fernbedienung. 7€ pro Nacht Parkgebühr für einen ohnehin leeren Parkplatz halten wir für sehr übertrieben! Positiv können wir den jungen Mann am Empfang bewerten. Er war sehr freundlich und professionell! Auch das Bett war OK. Kurz und gut, wir waren enttäuscht und hatten uns unter einem Comfort-Doppelzimmer etwas anderes vorgestellt!!

Zu teuer für die Leistung !

zuerst hatte ich ein Zimmer Kopfteil des Bettes stand zur Außenwand zur Straße bekommen. Als der Geräuschpegel nicht geringer wurde hatte ich mich umgesehen, direkt neben meinem Fenster die zwei größten Wärmepumpen Ventilatoren, die das perma Geräusch verursacht hatten. Ich konnte anstandslos das Zimmer tauschen. Eine Steckdose zum laden des Handys sucht man vergebens, unter dem Bett liegt eine Steckdosenleiste die mit den Nachtischleuchten verbunden ist und nur über einen zentral Schalter funktionieren. Also Licht an Strom fürs Handy, Licht aus kein Strom. Zudem lassen sich nur alle Lampen gemeinsam im Zimmer an oder ausschalten. Wenn man die Nachtischleuchten nutzen möchte geht nur mit den Flutlichtlampen an der Decke. Erzeugt kein Wohlfühlklima. In dem alten Kleiderschrank ist der Kühlschrank eingebaut, sehr schön versteckt, jedoch fungiert der Kleiderschrank als Resonanzkörper für das Kühlschrankbrummen.

Renovierung dringend notwendig

Das Hotel scheint ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Sauberkeit lässt extrem zu wünschen übrig.Besonders unter dem Bett.Löcher in Bettwäsche und Handtüchern. Dichtung der Duschkabine defekt.Toilette nicht mehr fest. Einzig die Freundlichkeit und der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel sind positiv zu erwähnen.

Bei Expedia hatte ich zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind (17 Jahre) angegeben. Als wir am Abend ins Zimmer kamen, war dort nur ein Doppelbett. Der Herr an der Rezeption erklärte mir dann, dass ich das telefonisch hätte angegeben sollen! Aber die Beschaffung eines Zustellbettes war schnell und problemlos möglich. Das Zimmer und Badezimmer ist ausreichend groß. Das Frühstück hat eine große Auswahl. Allerdings war montags die Milch aus und es wurde trotzdem ein Müsli angeboten. Schade um das Müsli. Mit einem Zettel um darauf hinzuweisen, hätte man es sich nicht umsonst in die Schüssel gepackt. Auch das Rührei, die gekochten Eier und der Multivitaminsaft waren schnell aus! Leider wurde das, obwohl noch recht früh, nicht aufgefüllt. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass sich das Personal in der Küche verschanzt und wenig Kontakt zu den Kunden sucht! Ebenfalls negativ ist mir der Umgangston einer Mitarbeiterin aufgefallen, nachdem ein älteres Ehepaar nach einer neuen Kanne Kaffee gefragt hat. Die Anrwort hätte niemals derart schnippig ausfallen dürfen. Wenn man keine Lust auf diese Arbeit hat, sollte man sich überlegen, ob man nicht wechseln sollte. Zum Übernachten ist das Hotel empfehlenswert. Von dort ist man recht schnell auf der A1 und im Ruhrgebiet.

Empfehlenswert

Ich bin nun schon mehrfach hier untergekommen. Die Lage in Schwelm ist perfekt, vieles fussläufig erreichbar. Dieses Nsl wurde ich besonders freundlich empfangen und alles Notwendige sofort geregelt. Es fehlte das Kopfkissen und das Türschloss war defekt, das kann in einem älteren Haus schon mal vorkommen. Es wurde gerade einige Renovierungsarbeiten und Verschönerungen durchgegührt

Empfehlenswert

Wir sind durch Zugverspätung erst gegen 22:00 eingetroffen, das wurde organisiert. Leider gab es nichts mehr zu essen, aber da haben wir noch etwas in der Nähe gefunden. Leider war dann niemand mehr anzusprechen, dass die Dusche nicht funktionierte.

Hyggeligt hotel

God oplevelse som helhed. Der var ingen på hotellet da vi ankom, men de havde skrevet tidligere på eftermiddagen, at man skulle ringe efter receptionisten, som hurtigt efter ankom til åbning. God og venlig betjening, men det trækker lidt ned i vores bedømmelse, at restauranten var lukket pt. Der var dog flere restauranter i nærheden vi kunne besøge, men alt ialt et rart ophold.

Sehr guter Service

Der Service ist super. Wir haben das Frühstück ohne Aufpreis aufs Zimmer bekommen. Aufgrund Corona ist die Repzeption nicht 24 Stunden besetzt und wir haben vor der Anreise einen Anruf erhalten, wann wir da sein werden. Wirklich klasse. Leider ist das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Bett war sehr bequem, das Zimmer hatte keinen Teppich und durch den tollen Service würden wir dieses Hotel erneut besuchen.

Typical German 4-star family owned hotel. Good and organized. Nothing to complain. Aslo nothing very special, just standard, nice if you enter late and leave early. I love this type of hotels because there are no hidden problems, like a false or exaggerated state and service. a Good to Go hotel
