From front desk service staff was very friendly kind informative helpful unit was very nice had all that was needed fridge microwave toaster coffee machine plenty extra blankets pillows foxtel heater surrounds were very quite woukd recommend and would stay again

Scone Motor Inn is an old-style motel with helpful staff and a handy-to-town location. However the "free" wi-fi is misleading. There is a free limit of 1.5 mb download, which you can almost use up in signing in to any website, and there is a cost after that - so beware! Despite this slightly annoying problem, we enjoyed our stay.

35° day, so worried about power usage still have key that needs to be plugged in to get power working so ac only works when in your room. Bloody hot and uncomfortable. Dearest room in our 3 weeks away and 2nd worst of all. Need to take a leaf out of some of the cheaper.motels books 😡

Have been there several times before with family and happy to stay again. Receptionist very pleasant and obliging. Would recommend to friends.

At the time of stay, there was a mouse plague. We had no problems only that people were smoking below room which was drifting into room. Rooms need to refurbish.

Unfortunately the Scone region like other areas in the Upper Hunter Valley is experiencing a problem with mice. The motel is trying to lumit the problem using different methods of pest control. Overall my stay was excellent.

I liked the spaciousness and standard of the room. I liked that the hostess gave the option of settling up front so we could get away early the next day. There were some stunning native birds attracted to the garden. It was a bit noisy with the coal trains, highway and guests below during the evening.

Great home cooked meal with fresh veggies and good options for the kids. Fantastic during a road trip where too much fried food often becomes the norm. Quiet for scone, with the odd train horn but where doesn’t near here. We enjoyed our overnight stay

Will stay there again.
A phone call to ask our arrival time and a warm reception by the Manager when we finally arrived were appreciated. She moved us to a more spacious room than we had booked online. Ground floor is definitely preferable. The room was clean and modern and there was an array of bathroom accessories, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, moisturiser etc. Soap and a shower cap were appreciated, as these are not provided in many motels.There was also a coffee machine with capsules. A little more expensive than others in Scone.

The room was very clean and a good size. Bed was comfortable and quiet. Staff at the front desk on arrive could use some people skills but not rude just not very welcoming/interactive. Other staff were good.
