"Room was as expected. It smelt of wet dog when we first went in, but we opened the window wide before going out for a few hours and it was fine when we got back"

"Would not have booked if we had known about breakfast as website still included details. Very clean and warm establishment. Bed was hard for us but if you like a firm mattress it’s ideal. Very convenient for walking to Seahouses. Recommend the Beach House Hotel for breakfast- very good value and a 10 minute walk from Springwood."

"Hostel style with a very nice and clean kitchen area. Nice thick bedsheets and comfy beds. Very conveniently walkable to Seahouses for boat trips from the harbor or a walk down the beach to Bamburgh castle."
