The property was pretty clean. The staff was kind and attentive. The hot tub and bistro were closed. We chose the Courtyard for the bistro so that stinks.

This was a wonderful first experience with a B & B. The hosts were amazing. The breakfast was FANTASTIC. The house fun and quirky. These guys know how to decorate for a holiday.... Halloween in our case.

very friendly staff. Room was clean, comfortable and big.
Valet was expensive ($40/night)
I think the valet may have caused a small dent in the drive car door (brand new car, 5 miles on it)

First time staying in this hotel, it was great. Staff was very friendly and our room was really cool. Had no idea we were getting a room with a separate bedroom, made it feel very homey. Bathroom was great, fancy fixtures and all! The free breakfast was nice too, although tough to find seating, not the hotel's fault there happened to be a wedding there the weekend we booked. Would definitely book this hotel again.

This property is beautiful. It sits in the historic area of the old port. It is very close to the waterfront, restaurants, shops and historic areas. The mattress and sheets were superb. While in the old port, we took a trolley tour which took us out to Portland headlight and then gave us a tour of of the old port. You can catch fairies from about two or three minutes walk away, we would strongly recommend this hotel.

The service and communication were excellent, the owner was warm and welcoming, breakfast was delicious and homemade, space was very clean, warm, cozy, and we even bought some eggs from the owner’s laying hens! Easy drive to hiking, maple sugar houses, and to sites in Portland. Would definitely go again.

I love this place! Check in is always smooth and the staff is always friendly. I really like the room set up with the separate living space from the sleeping space, and also a separate full kitchen area. Breakfast is included and always good with a large variety to choose from. They also have a free light supper a few nights a week. I sleep so well as the mattress and pillows are wonderful. The toiletries are nice and the towels are thick. Monica at the front desk was fantastic! She helped with many questions we had and really seemed to go above and beyond in makikg sure we had a good stay. I observed her doing similar with other guests. Hotel was very clean and had a new feel to it. Airport shuttle was very convenient and efficient.

Great location. Easy access for day trips up the coast, Boston etc. Boys loved the pool. Staff was responsive and took care of minor requests timely. Breakfast crew was outstanding and really made us feel appreciated for staying on property.
