"We stayed here so we'd have a pool for the kids and could be away from the busier city areas. They had a very convenient parking lot right next to the hotel which was also a big plus. The pool is clean and beautiful and the views from the rooms and the lobby and the dining area are just as good! We never felt crowded or busy, it was a very calm and relaxing vibe. We had one minor issue and one medium issue. Minor issue was that the Wi-Fi network only worked in the lobby and did not work in our rooms so when I was trying to get some work done that was not convenient. The other issue was the temperature in the rooms… Technically the rooms have air-conditioning but there isn't enough power in the hotel to run them properly so for two of the four nights we stayed the room was uncomfortably warm and my whole family was sweating in the middle of the night."

"Our stay at Mountain Design Hotel was beyond amazing. From the time we checked in until the moment we left nothing could have been better. We were very fortunate to have met the owner Rowland. His knowledge of the area is unparalleled. His suggestion of hiking trails put us on the best hike that we have ever done. His staff was so accommodating, polite, and just a pure please to interact with. No, it does not stop there. The food was from the local markets and prepared to perfection. "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly with our toddler. The evening food was exquisite, four course meal each night (half board, with separate food made for our toddler, thanks!) and breakfast buffet had a good choice for all. The hotel is very clean, with gorgeous surroundings, swings and play area for our toddler, and nice spa facilities for the family. We highly recommend! Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable! "
