Our flight got delayed and we didn’t arrive until midnight. They were so kind to accommodate us well past their usual desk hours. I’d recommend sending them a message through the app to keep the lines of communication open. We also loved the spacious room and how close it was to many food options.

Friendly staffs…. Do not need to worry that you are not able to communicate they speak really well English. Hotel is located at foods Street. So if you are hungry.… no problem. City hall station is only 5 min walks away so really convenient. And most important there is no carpets layout on the floor so room smell fresh and clean. The is also a small pantry that you can make a cup of coffee and microwave that you can heat up foods. A small and comfy hotel 👍

The receptionist who greeted us and farewelled us was very friendly! It is a great location where there are lots of restaurants and transport. The bed was very comfortable.

The staffs for this hotel were great. Very easy to check in and out. Towels and trashcans were changed daily. The only downside were that the room was a bit small and had no window or closet space. Not ideal for a family with many luggages. Overall great experience and location.

Convenient location with easy access to transportation, mall and shopping. The room was clean. Only fireside is that the room was a but small. Great stay and I will visit again.

The hotel upgraded us from a double room to a triple room for no extra charge! That was very nice of them. The room was enjoyable and we had a great time. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Gem in the middle of Seoul
My stay at Hotel 8 Hours absolutely surpassed my expectations and was a fantastic experience. The front desk and cleaning staff were incredibly kind and considerate, and they always made sure I had plenty of towels, water, and any other necessities. I ended up extending my stay twice here and was was so thankful that they provided excellent service and the staff was genuinely caring and considerate towards those of us staying there. Thank you for a great experience!

가격대비 무난한 호텔입니다. 가격 생각하면 크나큰 불만은 없지만 일단 창문이 없고요, 처음 화장실 이용하는데 여자 머리카락이 남아 있어서 청소에 대해서 의심을 갖게 되었습니다. 그리고 방음이 잘 안되는 거 같습니다.

Nice design. Very helpful and friendly staff. Have the basics like water refill, coffee machine, kettle, etc. Housekeeping does a good job. Only downside is that the rooms are not soundproof, so you may get some broad shouting at her man late at night or early morning. But since it's COVID there weren't that many guests so it has not been a huge problem.

I wasn't sure what to expect because of the price and general location. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The only slight problems were the bathroom smelled odd, and I saw some stains and hair on my bed. But it seemed clean, the facilities all worked, free water, convenient location, adequate space, good shampoo and body wash, and the lady working that day seemed kind! :)

Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel 8 Hours. Water bottles are replenished in the fridge every day, and a hot and cold water dispenser is also available at the lounge area, along with snacks if you're feeling a bit peckish. The room was clean and minimalistic, and has everything you could possibly need. The location of the hotel is also great, just around 10-15 mins walk away from Myeongdong, which is near enough, yet not so close that it gets too noisy.

Beware that if you book here you might suddenly get kicked out. Imagine that you are checked into your room, unpacked, and are asked to move out the next day. Especially visiting a foreign country where you are supposed to be enjoying a vacation this is a disaster. I had no calling or SMS in Japan so it was difficult trying to seek help or find another place to stay. This is a likely scenario if you stay here. I would avoid it at all costs. Besides suddenly being kicked out onto the street and needing to find a new place there are two other concerns I would like to address. First of all safety, the place is located in a dark alley off the main road so coming back at night is a safety concern. Second the WiFi is VERY POOR and constantly drops connection. There were many logging in issues and often times there was no internet convection even if you managed to connect to the WiFi. The internet is beyond slow and the signal is weak. Dare I say dial up would be faster. I’m not kidding. Lastly, the room can be quite loud. I could hear people going up and down the stairs throughout the day and night. You can also hear the people above you. Stairs also get wet and slippery. This is especially dangerous for children or elderly but is also a concern for adults.

A decent stay with nice decor
Overall quite pleasant, although one of the male staff was pretty unhelpful. The housekeeping mostly is for the bathroom, as throughout our stay of 8 days and 7 night, the beds were only made once after a week had passed. The partition between the shower and the toilet is fairly translucent as it is made of frosted glass. Fortunately it was just three girls sharing the room, I can imagine it would be highly horrifying if the room was shared between a group with different genders. The laundry service is free, and the hotel provides laundry powder. While there is no breakfast provided, the hotel does provide cup noodles and chopsticks, and there is a microwave in the common area for guests to heat up the food bought from the various convenience stores located downstairs. While we would come back for a short stay due to its highly convenient location, I would consider another hotel for a stay longer than a week.

The location is good, though it is hard for me to find for the first time, it is close to Myeong-dong. The price is reasonable, the room is simple but clean. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The room is small, as you can see from the pictures, but comfortable after a day of sight-seeing. There are many affordable small restaurants nearby. TV works fine, and there was an HDMI port on the TV in my room, so you can connect to it with and HDMI or MHL cable.

Nice hotel in general
Rooms are not sound proof, hence able to hear other nearby rooms. Bed is clean and comfortable. Near city hall station but restaurants & pubs nearby can make it dangerous to go back at night if alone. Room is surprisingly spacious giving the price paid. There is elevator to 2 floor. Worn out towels.

Overall pleasant experience. Quite impressed that the staff speaks mandarin and was helpful in giving directions to the nearby attractions. Only thing to improve is the drainage of the bathroom. The water flow was slow and filled up the bathroom pretty fast. Other than that very cozy and neat hotel. Was a little hard to find originally.

Nice budget hotel
Location of the hotel is A+. Close to subway and plenty of busses including airport express bus. About 10 minutes walk to the myeongdong shopping district. Neighbourhood was lively with restautants and a convenience store next door. Hotel very new and clean and free laundry was very handy. The only thing was the hotel smelt a bit like fish? I think it's the cleaning agent they use because everything else is very clean. Overall excellent experience and would stay again

Great hotel for family vacation
Overall it was a pleasant stay for me and my family. Location is perfect for shopping and dining. Our room was cleaned everyday and the bath room and beds are in fine condition. Although I had an unpleasant experience with one staff who laughed when I asked for 3 extra pillows, I would say the biggest asset of the hotel is the Manager. He was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I will definitely go back to this hotel with my family!

Hotel is a little difficult to find
I was surprised at how small and cramped the triple room was. While the room was clean, the room only had space for 3 beds, and a small cupboard for us to hang our clothes plus a small dresser / shelf, and that was it. We had to move to the common area for hot and cold water, and had barely enough space to move around once we opened our luggage. One good thing about the hotel was that the shower cubicle and toilet were separated, so the three of us didn't have to wait for one another to use the toilet. The location of the hotel is pretty near City Hall Station, but it is tucked away on the second floor of a small building, so my friends and I had difficulties finding it at first. It's also located amongst some restaurants, so be careful of the somewhat rowdy night crowd if you're female.
