When I got off the taxi, I was hit in the face by a blow of terrible gutter smell. There is a gutter opening in front of the hotel. As the windows were open, I smelled a hit of gutter in the room as well. Turned the AC on, and it blew dusty and moldy air. With the mixture of all that, I fell sick for three days. Vacation Ruined! The shower head was all rusty with blue built all over it. The passageway carpet has nasty stains. So on and so forth. I know the hotel is cheap, but being a hotel, there has to be a certain level of hygiene and comfort. Also, no staff speaks a single word of English (not even "key"). I understand it is Korea, and they don't have to speak English, but if you are advertising your business in Expedia, customers' expectations will be that you speak the bare minimum.
