“Amazing hotel, it’s actually part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World! I’m so glad I chose this hotel for my Guangzhou trip, the room was spacious and clean, and it’s conveniently situated at the end of Beijing Road so walking over was easy. There’s also a delicious Chaoshan eatery 4 mins walk from the hotel that I was blown away with. I know some people complained about the trees blocking the river view, but I didn’t mind it too much and thought the trees provided a nice shade and coziness...

“It is 1930s historical magistic building. It keeps its magnificant period look and inside fitted with adequte modern furnishing, air conditioning and clean bedding and room. For $60 a night, that is a steal. I was originally expecting $120-to 14o a night. Good value. Highly recommended.”
