Thanks for the upgrade! Beautiful view, excellent location, quiet. Great service - arranged fantastic transportation to the airport, I wish I had arranged transport FROM the airport, would have been a much better experience than the smelly taxi we took.

This stay was amazing Vivien was so attentive with everything. Cleaning always detailed, staff super friendly. Close to everything. Mart in lobby. Spacious apartments, comfortable bedding. Lots of light. Perfect kitchen. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. Keep up the great job!!

The hotel was very well located. IT was a walking distance to Nanjing street east (a pedestrian street). IT was also very close to the viewing platform of Pudong’s skyline. The hotel was clean. The gym was more than decent and way better than the typical hotel fitness Centre. The host was very helpful / gracious and replied back right away. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I will definitely book again if i plan a Shanghai trip in the future.

Vivien is the best. Anything I needed, she made sure it happened: extra water, more towels, drying clothes. Great experience and is located very close to main attractions. 10/10 would visit again.

Very clean and spacious. Able to see the Oriental Tower from the windows. Walkable to Nanjing Pedestrian Street. The only complaint was that it was a little far from Metro station.

For our family of 4, this was the perfect room! There was room for everyone to have their own space to relax, with a beautiful view and really close to plenty of shopping - but surprisingly quiet. Nanjing road, Joycity Mall and the fashion markets were all within 10min walk along with so many food option and an Aldi supermarket. The room was a little dated and the corridors were in need of a renovation, but if you can ignore that, you’ll enjoy your stay. Plus, for a family, having a washing machine in the room was an absolute game changer! Also, ask them about their well priced airport transfers - great driver, fancy big car and better pricing than Didi.

I love the downtown location of this property—it is so convenient for finding restaurants and getting around. I stayed here with my parents, and they even discovered a historical building nearby. The staff was incredibly helpful and quick to respond. Plus, the view from the window was beautiful!

Nice and helpful staff. Property was spacious with a good view but our particular room was not as clean/new as demonstrated in photos. Building itself is very old and is not located the listed address (we only found this out once we had arrived). Overall stay was okay!

River House was ideal for our family of four from Melbourne, Australia to stay for our first trip to Shanghai, and we would stay there again. What we found most helpful was: - very centrally located in a clean, safe, modern and interesting neighborhood. Highlights here were the views and the evening walks along the beautiful river boulevard with some nice bars and sites. Highly recommend visiting Fotografiska in the evening (Jazz on Wednesday nights). - having two rooms, three beds, a washing machine and dryer and a large bathroom was a perfect base after long days of walking. The bottled water and towels were replenished, and trash removed, daily. - Vivien, Simon and their colleagues were very friendly, helpful and flexible. We weren’t able to pay our full invoice in one go and they let us pay in daily instalments. - There is a small shop downstairs that’s open late and has everything you need. - There is a cute bar for your evening drinks, with some local cats to pet, which our kids loved.
