"Our room was basic, and we had to lug suitcases up stairs, but the location was fantastic for the airport! The hotel restaurant had some nice options too."
"The ONLY drawback to this hotel is the traffic… there is currently only one main road through the beautiful village of Adare and it is constantly gridlocked. The hotel sits right on the main road and if you have a room at the front you will hear traffic. We were told that they are building a bypass to take traffic around the village (the 2027 Ryder Cup golf tournament is being held here) which will be a huge improvement! Other than that the property is incredible, with beautiful antique furnishings and interesting artwork, an onsite spa, reading/writing rooms with views of the gardens and a wonderful breakfast served in the dining room. Adare village is exquisite and this hotel is a special experience."
"No elevator! We were surprised by a two-storey walk up! Great bistro for breakfast. Warm helpful staff. So central and convenient to explore Limerick."
"Beautiful Scenery. Easily accessible. I was working in Shannon so very quick commute.
Only issue I had was I stayed on the ground floor, and the ceiling felt like it was paper thin. Could hear every footstep including a child bouncing around until 10:30pm.
Not ideal for a work trip. If I was to stay again I would have to request a first floor room."
"We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff member who checked us in must have been one of the most polite men I’ve ever met in my life, truly exceptional service.
The only minor concern is the outside noise, which other reviewers have also pointed out. It’s not something the hotel can realistically resolve without major structural changes, so if you’re sensitive to noise, bringing ear plugs is a good idea."
