This resort was amazing and so much fun!! The food is top notch. The buffet at The Palm restaurant had every food type you could ask for. Service is top notch too. My husband and I were treated like royalty at this resort. I’d like to mention two staff members that made our trip special; Saleh at the Palm restaurant and Elsayed at X bar. We loved the vibe and energy at this resort. They have a DJ at X bar every day from 5-7pm. Also, a DJ at one of the pools. Our suite was beautiful and very clean. We had a great time!!! We left for Cairo after our stay at Rixo’s, and I want to go back!

The beach, jetty and pool areas are stunning, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy Sharm. Thankyou to Dr Amr Ibrahim onsite doctors who were fantastic sorting my dad’s cough and whizzing. Overall we had a great stay. A few niggles in that we hadn’t been told that our room would have exception noise levels at night due to the relocation of entertainment for New Year, the celebrations went on for several days.We were already several days into our stay and didn’t really want to move so we just put up with it but it was insanely loud until very late, which I didn’t expect from a high end resort. We probably wouldn’t choose Rixos again because of this because we were told that they do market specially as ‘the party never ends’ at this time of year. And we hadn’t bargained on an 18-30s type experience. However, food was exceptional, the new year banquet was the most opulent display I’ve ever seen. Resort is beautiful and suite was enormous, if a little tired. Cleaning staff are pushy for good google reviews but they did a reasonable job. Everything else was great. We did a dive/snorkel trip with Pyramid diving from the resort and that was exceptionally well organised and great value

Exceptional Stay at Rixos Adults Only We stayed at Rixos Adults Only during Christmas with my family, and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel is extremely clean, well-organized, and beautifully maintained, which made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. All the staff were incredibly welcoming, polite, and professional. You can really feel that guest satisfaction is their top priority. The main restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious food with multiple options to suit all tastes, and everything we tried was excellent. I would especially like to highlight the manager, Mr. Hassan. He is genuinely humble and leads by example. At one point, we were waiting for coffee while the staff were assisting another guest, and instead of letting us wait, Mr. Hassan personally came and prepared coffee for me and my husband. This small gesture meant a lot and truly reflects the outstanding level of service at the hotel. Overall, Rixos Adults Only exceeded our expectations, and we thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas stay. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and exceptional hospitality.

The AC however, didn't work very well, especially during nighttime (our friends who were staying on the same floor, but in a different unit had the same issue). We could not get the temperature below +22 C on some of the nights, so getting good sleep was not always easy. The food was fine overall, however, we expected more variety of fish and seafood at the main restaurant. It was difficult to get a reservation at certain a la carte restaurants (I was determined and came to relations desk 3 times during the stay, so I got mine) - you can make it for only 3 days in advance. Then some of them are not as good as expected and service feels rushed (we had such experience at Mangal and Brazilian). Asian and Turkish were amazing - both food and service. Coffee was delicious (I drink black, my husband and in-laws - latte), especially across the street from the beach bar's entrance. Entertainment was great. Hardworking and talented! I know, it's not the warmest season (mid-Feb), so water in all the pools was ice cold, except one heated pool in front of the reception building, so everyone tended to stay there, so getting a vacant spot was not always easy. Service was overall good, we haven't noticed any special treatment after tipping staff however :))

Hotel is large! Staff are polite and helpful, hotel is immaculate. The dining is not great. We ate in the fish, which was best by far for both dinner & lunch. We also ate at Mangle, Gusto the buffet & the Brazilian. The service at these four restaurants was awful. The food at the palm in the evening was cold, but well presented. Mangle (BBQ) the staff didn’t explain the process so sat there for a while… Gusto, food was ok but plates not cleared after each course and the Brazilian food was ok, staff weren’t that attentive. Premium brand drinks, but cocktails a bit hit and miss. Pool service again was hit and miss. Towels by the pool were better than the towels in the room, which could do with replacing. First time I’ve been AI for a while, & I now remember why I haven’t done it! Sorry to say not the best holiday. Also being so close to the airport you do have a few planes fly over, not constantly about 1/2 dozen each day.

Overall, my stay at the resort was pleasant, and the staff certainly deserve 5 stars for their service. However, I did encounter a few issues during my visit. Upon check-in, I was upgraded, which I appreciated, but my bed was switched from a king to a double. After traveling all night, I was too exhausted to raise the issue and decided to let it go. I was part of a group of seven friends, and while my companions seemed to receive exceptional hospitality, including offers of amenities and even late check-out, I unfortunately did not experience the same. This was surprising, especially as this was my second stay at the resort. The food was average—not great, but not terrible either. One of my main concerns was with the bartenders. Only one poolside bartender, Semeh, seemed well-trained and made excellent drinks. Unfortunately, the other bartenders' drinks were bland and poorly mixed. The music at the pool was another downside—constantly melancholy and depressing, as though the DJ had set the playlist and checked out emotionally. Given that my previous stay at this resort was much better, I am still inclined to give the hotel an overall 4-star rating. However, I hope to see some improvements in consistency, especially with amenities and the poolside experience.
