"The room was noticeably dusty, which was particularly difficult for me as someone who suffers from asthma. It got really hot some nights but couldn’t put on the air con as just would blow the dust everywhere so luckily could open window. On a positive note, the shower was powerful and the bed itself was a good size. However, the bedding was uncomfortable the duvet didn’t properly stay inside the cover, which made it feel untidy and inconvenient throughout the night.
The hotel has a very self-service approach, which I understand for efficiency but at times it felt as though staff preferred guests not to ask for assistance. That said, the complimentary breakfast and drinks were a nice touch, and the reception area was decorated nicely and on theme. Sadly aside from those positives, the experience didn’t quite meet expectations. "
