“Was a great stay at this great little inn. It may be a bit different than what most western guest expect to find, but I went for the Ryokan experience and was not disappointed. Staff were really great, helpful in scheduling transport to the monkey park and to the train station. Room was clean, good size, and had everything I needed. The town itself is a cute little village and it was a great experience going to all 9 baths in the town. The baths themselves could use a bit more attention... some...

The staff are amazing and will shuttle you to close resorts as well as into town for dinner and pick you up. Highly recommend for your ski base! ”
