Bali Magical Villas Ubud - Brand New Villas with Fitness Center & Jungle View

"The villa was exceptional. We stayed in Villa Cendana which has 4 double bedrooms. The property is only 3 months old and is spotless. The dining areas inside and outside are great for entertaining and the lounge and outside sofas are beautiful. The private pool is huge about 12 metres by 4-5m, which is much bigger than we were expecting. The staff are so thorough and made sure that we were incredibly well looked after. They helped us with directions to the local laundry and how to operate the washing machine in the property, and wanted to ensure we had a great stay. We took up the daily breakfasts by the villa hosts and it was great, and really good value. We also used the private Chef for a bbq and again the quality was very very high. Our group used the massage service that only needs 2 hours notice, and they set up in one of the bedrooms or out on the terrace. The property is well placed, south of Ubud and withing 30 mins of most things in a Grab taxi. There are 2 good coffee shops and bakeries nearby if you don't want breakfast in the villa. All the rooms have smart TVs and there is fast WiFi too. We were a party of 7. 4 adults and 3 kids 4-7 and it was perfect for our group. Can't recommend this villa enough. Thank you for a great stay."

"A superb hotel. Spent a week here in July 2026. Received a very warm welcome upon arrival and checked in to a standard room, more than adequate, spacious with a walk in shower and bath room. Bed was super comfy and huge! The pool area is more than adequate with sun beds available at all hours of the day. The pool has a great view over the nearby forest. Took advantage of the spa which provided excellent treatment, a little bit of extra luxury. The breakfast is very good with all you’d expect from a buffet catering to all cultural tastes. The 2 restaurants are good, although you may wish to go farther afield for some authentic Indonesian cuisine. Plenty available. The staff are super attentive, always around to serve at the pool or dining facilities. Always a sincere friendly greeting. The hotel Is about a 15 minute cheap taxi out of Ubud away from the busy areas. Only minor read for improvement would be room balcony, ours was a little shabby and not so Inviting as it was very close to the main road. Maybe request a room facing away from the road if affected by noise. Overall we would definitely visit again and recommend to any wishing to visit Ubud."

"Everything was great, communication, cleanliness, staff, service. Just two things not so good. Don't get proper hot water in showers, pool water feels very cold too. Floating breakfast comes with extra price, should advertise like that also. Very selective breakfast menu which is included in price although taste was good."

"We stayed at La Tropica for our first visit to Bali, and it was a lovely experience! The staff were very quick to fulfil any requests we had. The one-bedroom pool villa was perfect for a couple’s retreat just outside of the main part of Canggu. The shower connecting to the pool area from outside was perfect for after going for a swim in the hot afternoon. The cocktails from the resort’s restaurant were lovely too :). Would recommend for anyone wanting to stay close enough to Canggu without the noise of the busy areas."

"Wonderful hotel in a great location Stayed here in May 2026 and would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were amazing and looked after us throughout our 3 nights stay. We booked the family three bedroom villa with private pool. The pool was a good size and the kids made use of this every day. Breakfast could be had in the restaurant (we did twice) or delivered to the room (we did once). The standard was always the same and always plentiful. The service when going into the restaurant was a little slow, but nothing too bad – just worth noting if you have trips to get to – which we did and probably made us over worry about service times. As for other meals, we did not eat in the restaurant but had food delivered on our first night and the standard was very good and the prices very reasonable. We did have drinks in the bar one night and again very reasonable in price. Rooms use standard lock and key. For one room the door could be locked from the inside without a key, but for the other it needed the key. Worth noting if travelling with children as they need to lock themselves in and you then wont have access to the room. Rooms were always clean and generally in very good condition. The upper room is very spacious. The location is down a road that cannot be accessed by cars, but its easy to get the hotel golf buggy to take you between hotel and area to get drivers/taxi’s.
