The only interaction with the property is by that intercom or by WhatsApp. No personal contact whatsoever. Room was big, bright, completely undecorated but for a large chandelier. “Everything about the room was great. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast option where I had to choose the evening before of a choice of croissant and coffee. There were no other options such as fruit, other types of bread, possibly cheese.”

The host did not provide any information for where to get public transportation or food. We arrived at the hotel at check-in time by taxi, and were stuck the rest of the day and night, with nothing more than a deli and pizzeria on a busy, narrow street with no sidewalk. “Beautiful location, Bed wasn't very comfortable as it seemed to sink in the middle at a slant and the tub had some minor leaking at the base when we tried to fill it so we weren't able to use the jacuzzi. Owner was great and responsive and accommodating with bag storage and early check in.”

“This hotel felt like a B&B experience in a building that normal Catanians would live in rather than some fancy hotel. The hotel is within walking distance to the central train station and the historic area. The area surround the property was very quiet. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was a nice treat from needing to eat out everyday. Plus there was air conditioning. Would definitely stay here in the future.”

“Clean and great check in instructions. 10 mins walk to the centre 10 mins walk to train station. Great base for 26 hours in Catania. Checked in early when asked and left baggage in the morning and collected on way to station. Thank you Valeria 🙏 💫 ”
