It was easily accessible to the beaches and various tours. You could stay at the resort and not require a car unless you wish to discover the island on your own. The staff was very friendly and check-in and check-out were fast and easy. If there was something to be fixed or missing, the staff responded quickly. The food at the various restaurants was good. The small grocery store located on the resort was a lifesaver. The pools were very clean and so were the grounds. The walls of the rooms were well insulated and you could not hear the other guests. The bed was very comfortable and the housekeeping staff were very attentive. Overall, a wonderful 2 weeks stay at this resort. It would nice if the

I was really nervous about this property after reading some of the previous reviews by other guests. However, after staying at this property, I'm happy to report that staff persons were very nice and professional, the resort grounds were well kept, the room was clean, and the proximity of the resort to local amenities was great. Our top floor room on the hill had an amazing view and was conveniently located near a pool with a swim up bar. Parking was easy. Food at resort restaurants was delicious. Overall, I'm very pleased with this property, and I would return again. I'm so happy and relieved that my experience was nothing like any of the negative reviews reported. Totally great experience! Well done to the property staff and management!

The roads around the resort need repair. The layout required steep walking. But the shuttles helped navigate and they were there to pick you up in a very timely manner.

Hôtel bien entretenue. La cuisinette est complète avec la vaisselle nécessaire pour se faire de bons repas. Chambre très spacieuse. Accès facile à la plage. Bonne sélection de palapas sur la plage. Pas nécessaire de réserver des chaises longues à la plage ou à la piscine, il y en avait toujours de disponibles. Très belle vue sur la mer à partir de notre balcon. La navette est pratique pour revenir des épiceries, car très montagneux. Les chambres en montagne ne sont pas idéal pour personnes à mobilité réduite.

Only complaint is the state of the roads around the property: a few big potholes that could modify the wheel alignment of your rental car if you are not careful. But this seems to be the norm for all the roads on the Dutch side. Other than that, very nice resort and had a great stay!

The room was fantastic, spacious with great views and clean. Service was a little wanting, towels not provided, loss of water, and staff seemed not to know what was going on at facility. Overall, a good experience with some challenges. Be ready for lots of walking up and down hills.

The only complaint I have is that the restaurant staff at the resort wasn’t friendly. They would seat you and then it took time to get offered coffee and tea. They didn’t tell you that you can get more than the buffet. They never smiled or made you feel welcome. Even leaving a tip didn’t change their attitude. We stopped leaving a tip.

We absolutely loved our stay at Simpson Bay resort. We had a beautiful room with the kitchen and a lovely outdoor patio overlooking the water. Everything was walkable. It was really nice having grocery store really close by and believe it or not I want some money at the casino. Highly recommend this resort.

So I booked a one bedroom deluxe suite through Expedia. When I was taken to my room, it was not what I booked. I told my husband not to unpack and I went down to the front desk. I told the front desk this is not the room I ordered according to the pictures. She said they were just pictures. Wait What??? And then she asked if I booked through a third-party and I said yes, and she kind of shrugged her shoulders. Wait a minute if you don’t like third-party bookings why are you partnering with them I say to myself. But I want my room so I don’t argue. She did finally give me the room that I paid for and I will say it was very nice..but my question is why did I have to fight for it.

Our stay at the resort was amazing. We stayed at the Villas. The staff was hospitable. We had a late check in and Edward at the front desk was amazing. Kept us in the loop about everything. Made sure we got the shuttle to and from the designated areas we went. Everything was also in walking distance. Could not complain at all. We also had an amazing taxi driver, Walter. He was our go to guy. He showed and described everything to us about the lovely place whilst on our way to any location. He is definitely the best. Everyone was kind. At the beach bar, Laurrel and Lynda. The pool bar, can’t remember the bartenders name but they all were lovely. We definitely look forward to taking a trip back. Definitely going to the Resort again and definitely looking forward to seeing Edward and Walter again.
