Fabulous hotel, great location on Orchard Rd, about a 7 min walk from the MRT. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops to eat at varying prices along Orchard Rd e.g. Starbucks, McDonalds, Shake Shack...and lots of different restaurants for a nice meal. Hotel was great and the staff were friendly. They kindly gave me an upgrade on arrival as we were celebrating 2 big birthday's so we had a higher room with a pool view. Pool was lovely with pool towels available......would have been great to have more sun loungers, but it wasn't overly busy so didn't impact us too much. We used the on sight laundry facility which was in expensive and convenient and meant we could pack less clothes. Would stay again and would recommend.

Great base for a 48 hour stopover in Singapore. Easy bus or train from the airport and hotel had everything we needed nearby. Great size room with plenty of room for luggage and a big bathroom.

I checked in on thursday 8th Jan at about 7pm and was given a sub standard room (room 840) that looked like a forsaken room in a far away wing of the hotel. We are repeat cutomers having stayed here 3 times in the past 9 months. We were not told that the room is far away from the usual rooms and had a flight of steps. It certainly did not look like a normal hotel room we have stayed anywhere. We had 2 big bags and my husband just had a shoulder surgery. We could not lift the bags up those flight of steps. Luckily a young lady guest who was also in the same area helped get those bags up. That night we followed up with Clyde at front desk and he was excellent in customer service. He promised to get us a proper room the next day and also moved our bags across while we were out. Clyde helped make up for the poor service of the lady who checked us in. With Clyde's service standard, we will return to this hotel else, we would not return. Please thank Clyde for his superb service. Highly commendable!

Rated as a 4* property but personally think there are better 4* properties in Singapore. The size of the room was good but the overall quality and furnishings were a little dated. The Swimming Pool was large in size but had pretty limited seating for users. Location is ok, good for those wanting the shopping experience of Orchard Road but quite far away from Marina Bay Sands locality.

Rooms are a bit dated and we had to wait approximately 10 minutes for hot water to come through for showers. Apart from feeling like we are wasting water it was ok. All in all it is a nice place to stay and great location. We would return.

I really liked the size and decore of the room. Room was very spacious with comfortable beds and air conditioner worked well. Staff very efficient and moved me to another room when there was an issue. Staff are attentive, approachable and professional. Lovely big pool with a pool bar close by.

A great choice

Choosing a hotel among the myriad on offer in Singapore can be a shot in the dark, so we had no idea before staying what it would be like. Our two short stays at the Orchard Rendezvous in the space of 3 weeks however have made sure this will be an easy choice the net time we visit the country. The staff were invariably friendly, polite and professional. On our second stay, we were given a room that, although comfortable, spacious and clean, had no daylight, so when we requested a change the front desk staff went to the length of upgrading us to a higher category room as there was no availability in the category we had booked. Details like that made our stay a real pleasure. Combined with the very convenient location for both shopping and walking around the Botanic Gardens, the close proximity of buses and MRT station AMD the excellent service, this hotel seems pretty ideal as a base to see Singapore from.
