Best moderate priced hotel on Orchard Road in Singapore as there is the OG/OC shopping mall next door and very convenient MRT station. Singapore has a lot of rain daily at 3pm and it is very nice to be situated indoors with the promixity of this hotel to Grab and other taxis.

amazing location and lovely roof top pool. what set it a part was their staff at check-in. we had landed late and they made our long day so much easier with a fussy 5yr old.

Dirty window with algae growing on it made the room feel much worse than it was. The view was disappointing, even though on a high level (half facing the hotel itself). Bad design where you need to take 2 lifts to get to the hotel rooms, gets very tedious when taking small trips outside. The ice machine is the best thing at this hotel. The pool is awesome.

I liked all the things indicated above in the What Did You Like? section. I did not like the fact that once again Shangri-La had no record of how many guests were on our booking and had not prepared our room accordingly. I do not know if this is an issue with Expedia or the hotel, however it needs to be sorted, especially when guests are queried for all of this detail and it never seems to make it onto the actual booking with the hotel.

I booked room with club access ,but very disappointed with its food & service,especially during afternoon happy hr before dinner. Too crowded ! I went there only once in morning & afternoon . Not recommended to pay more for club access.

We loved the pool and bar , close to shops transport and food options. One small grip was that we had to take two lifts to reach our room but that was the only minor gripe.

Very modern, clean hotel. Small but comfortable rooms. Breakfast was outstanding. Metro link rail was almost right under the hotel which made transportation around Singapore very easy. Pricey but everything in Singapore is expensive.

Everyone was very friendly. Great location. Somerset MRT station is just downstairs. Close to a lot of convenience stores and eateries. Pool is great too. I didn’t add breakfast option simply because the hotel has many eateries within walking distance and it would be great to walk around to eat and enjoy the city.

The property was clean, hygienic and fresh! Staff were responsive and attentive and polite. This hotel is very central to Orchard St and also above an MRT which was super convenient, and within the Orchard Gateway shopping centre too which was convenient. The pool was amazing, and I appreciate the lifeguards on duty looking after people, and also making the environment safe and enjoyable for everyone, so these Instagram posers aren't doing anything dangerous by the pool. Thank you for making the environment enjoyable so that people are not made to feel uncomfortable with people trying to take pictures all the time.
