Clean, basic accommodation, perfect for a stopover. Great value for money. Fantastic food available in the bistro for both lunch and dinner. Hotel is in a good location, close to town centre, there’s plenty of parking and staff are friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again.

It was basic but good. Yes, it is old, but they seem to be trying to modernise it gradually. Very clean and quite comfortable. The helpful and friendly staff were first rate.

You literally step from your room into the beer garden. The pool table is also in the beer garden. It was obvious we would not be able to sleep here so we left and found other accommodation. We did consider asking for a room upstairs but those rooms overlook the main road which is very busy with noisy heavy vehicles.
