“The team at Big Game was amazing! We booked because we really wanted to do a safari and that was amazing but we were blown away be everything else! The food was above and beyond what I expected with 4 courses for dinner, 3 at lunch , and a very full breakfast. They list breakfast as continental but it's much more than that. The first tent we were in was fine but we upgraded part way through and really appreciated the extra space! ”

“Hôtel bien placé pour safari à Wilpatu, le safari était super avec un guide très attentif et qui a su nous montrer beaucoup d animaux et oiseaux en prenant bien le temps. “Remote space to really get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We stayed at Kay Jay Wild’s for 2 nights so we could do a full day safari at Wilpattu. While Kay Jay Wild’s was close to an entrance of the national park, it was not the main entrance which meant we had to wake up earlier for our driver to drive to the other entrance which was ~40km more distance. Otherwise - service was great and every hotel staff was helpful, friendly and kind. ”

“Leopard Trails is a fabulous rustic luxury camp in the beautiful Wilpattu Park. This was one of our favorite stays in all of Sri Lanka! The Naturalist guide who took us on safari was attentive, knowledgable, and a genuinely great guy. Back at camp, the rooms were comfortable and the private dining candle lit dinners were magically romantic. I recommend the suite with the plunge pool, it was bliss after a hot and dusty drive on safari. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this special place! ”
