Terra Minoika Boutique Resort is the perfect destination for a quiet and romantic getaway. Stratis and the staff were exceptional, offering warm hospitality and attentive service. The homemade food, crafted with fresh local ingredients, was truly amazing and added a special touch to the experience. If you're seeking tranquility and a genuine Cretan experience, this is the ideal place to stay.

This property is tremendous. Views of the Kato Zacros bay are great from any of the various terraces and gardens surrounding the rooms/apartments. We loved it there but perhaps not best suited for young families since there was no direct access to the beach (short drive/walk away). We didn't go there for sea views but it is a marvellous spot. Great access to the "Gorge of the Dead" for those who want a bit of hiking experience. Would recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different. Easy access to one of the famous ancient sites of Crete was a bonus for us.

The property was amazing! Every detail was thought of. It is family run and they are incredibly helpful in sharing the best beaches and restaurants in the area. The garden is meticulously designed with unique artwork throughout. The stone houses overlook a breathtaking landscape. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Yummy treats were freshly baked each morning. We loved our stay here!

We enjoyed overlooking the Minoan palace remains, the valley and the vast Mediterranean from our exceedingly well appointed two room unit including kitchen. Picking up breakfast with freshly baked goods at the reception and eating on our veranda was a true delight. Perhaps we enjoyed it so much more because it was so far away.

Excellent stay

This is a wonderful boutique resort. It is located on a gorgeous part of Crete with easy access to beaches, hiking, and restaurants. There are superb details throughout the villas and the grounds with a lot of unique artwork and gorgeous landscaping. There also happened to be lots of fresh figs while we were there as an extra bonus. Included breakfast was great and plentiful and all the staff were friendly. I give this stay a 9.9 out of 10. The one thing they can improve on is having more pillow options as the pillows we had were very thick and firm, which I'm sure work for some people.

Bellissimo posto ...legna e pietra la fanno da padrona. vista bellissima dalle tante terrazze piene di fiori. La casetta per 4 con 1 bagno è un po ' piccolina però c' è tutto il necessario. Colazione fantastica.

Vacances, originalité, sérénité.

Mon épouse et moi avons découvert cet hôtel paradisiaque à l'occasion de vacances à Kato Zakros. La résidence hôtelière est récente, bien conçue, originale, et très bien située, en léger surplomb d'une plage. L'endroit n'est pas envahi de constructions ni de touristes. Les gérants, le père et son fils, ainsi que leurs personnels sont TRES courtois, accueillants et sympathiques. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux, et la configuration des lieux permet de profiter du paysage et de la nature : terrasses ombragées, salon d'été, jardins aménagés, etc.... A proximité de l'hôtel se trouvent le site minoen de Kato Zakros et le débouché des célèbres " Gorges de la Mort ", qui constituent une belle randonnée pédestre. Les vacanciers pourront aussi profiter de l'excellente auberge " Akrogiali" , dont la cuisine crétoise est excellente.

La magia di “Terra Minoica” a Kato Zacros.

Nella splendida cornice di Kato Zacros, sorgono queste villette in pietra, rustiche ma dotate di tutti i comfort, non manca proprio nulla per un soggiorno indimenticabile!! Stella è una perfetta padrona di casa che si prende cura dei suoi ospiti e di questa struttura unica nel suo genere. Grande dispiacere andarsene!!!

Terra Minoika is as close to paradise as I have ever come. The villas are as comfortable as they are beautiful, and Stella is an extraordinarily thoughtful host providing the best advice on hiking and day trips as well as delightful breakfasts to be enjoyed in one's own perfectly appointed dining area or on one's very private patio overlooking the Aegean. She and her husband (a remarkable sculpture) have transformed the place into a work of art. And it is nestled at the foot of the Gorge of the Dead which ends at the ruins of a Minoan palace on the edge of the sea. This was my second visit, and I hope to be back in a year or two for an even longer stay.

Beautiful studio with extraordinary charm

Our studio had everything a guest could want—from extra- thick towels to a comfortable writing desk— even an outdoor line for hanging out beach towels etc. The breakfasts were ample and luscious with organic Greek yogurt and honey to die for. And the owner made special arrangements for us to to discover the sites near this wonderfully relaxed coastal village We want to return here next year!
