Liked the breakfast buffet and the variety. Had an excellent dinner. Great assess to shopping and convenient parking at hotel. Family suite more limited in space than expected and bathroom size too small for family suite.

Nice night in Skagen

Pleasant one night stay in Skagen while touring Denmark. The Skagen Hotel was conveniently located and a nice landing spot for our night in Skagen. The room was basic, but thats all we needed. It was clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet was a nice surprise, with the diverse selecton of breakfast food and beverages.

The staff at this hotel were so incredibly friendly. Check in/check out was fast and easy. The hotel itself is adorable, our room even had a little balcony to watch the sunset. It is a 1 min walk from the Skagen station and within walking distance of tons of restaurants, shops and a really nice grocery store. The breakfast included was an impressive spread of food. If I ever found myself in this small town again I would absolutely stay here again.

Welcoming, clean, great breakfast

Lovely, cosy, spotless hotel in centre of Skagen. Rooms were very comfortable (we had 2nd floor rooms). Free parking to the rear. Breakfast was a particular highlight - the expected excellent range of bread and bread rolls as is usual in Denmark, as well as a varied, good quality and well-laid out selection of other hot and cold items. Limited reception hours but wasn’t an issue for us. Very relaxing in the low season, would highly recommend.

Good location but hotel room needs some sprucing up. No ledge in the shower so most of bathroom floor soaked when someone showered. Very musty smell in the hallway. Breakfast was good.

Great even in the off-season

Good, clean, quiet room. Smooth, friendly check-in and check-out. Wonderful breakfast. Convenient parking. Outstanding location for town-center exploration. The only downside was a rather cramped bathroom.
