Dinner is included and it’s lovely and home cooked. They should make more of a deal about that!
Very clean with a comfy bed with mattress topper and fluffy pillow and french duck down duvet.
Lovely location and everything you need for a 2 night stay! Recommend.
Pros: Great staff, nice concept with meals included, and an excellent location.
Cons: Poor gym with no working AC (which is also missing in my room). The neighborhood is quite noisy. The work desk is super small, and the internet connection is slow.
This property was beautiful, especially being right on the water. The staff was extremely kind and helpful! The dinning room’s food was absolutely delicious! Downtown had a lot of empty store fronts, but overall, a very beautiful center.
We had a lovely two nights stay and were very impressed with the quality and quantity of food included in the price. We definitely did not go hungry. The room and facilities were very good with lovely white bedding etc. Everyone was very nice and helpful which made our stay great.
Don't be fooled as I was, this is not a historic hotel. The lobby is in a 1990s building and is nice, but otherwise the hotel is a bland, below average 1990s hotel despite the nice pictures they show on the booking site. Only part of their hotel is in an old building. I had requested a room in this part, but the lobby attendant said she was unable to change my room to the historic attic room I had seen and booked on Expedia. My bedroom was renovated, but the bathroom was quite disgusting with broken tiles, stains, hair on the floor, and 'fluids' on the bathroom floor that had not been cleaned. My worst hotel experience in Norway, and definitely my worst experience with the Strawberry chain of which I am a member. You should do better, Strawberry.
Cleaning and food.
I had 3 nights at the hotel. The food was not something I would call home and tell anyone about and not a single time through these days did the clean the room, make the bed or even changed towels.
