“My friend and I stayed at the Lowfield for two nights. My birthday fell after our first night's stay and we booked an evening meal to celebrate my birthday. After giving an overall excellent rating for the review topic I can include an excellent for a wonderful meal. The Lowfield is a jewel set in superb countryside and is great value for money. Maybe should change its name to Highfield!”

“We were walking the Shropshire Way and the White Horse was a nice place to fall into at the end of a long day's walk. The food was wholesome and the bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The bar area was popular with locals celebrating a football match win and this lasted until around 10:00 pm when it all subsided into a gentle placidity. The breakfast in particular was delicious.”

“Fantastic service from the owners, they made us feel very welcome upon arrival. The beds were super comfortable and that was coupled with a great view. Lots of little details which added character to the room and gave it a homey feel such as small ornaments. The breakfast was lovely, a large selection of cold meats, pastries etc even though it was only us staying. Only a 10 minute drive to Newtown so it has everything you need.”
