Room and bathroom lovely and good location in town. We were told it would be noisy at night as it's over a cocktail bar and near a night club. Ear plugs were provided which we thought was a nice touch. If you are prepared to put up with the noise it's a good place to stay.

Great place, great price.

It was a really cosy place, surprisingly extremely clean and great for three nights- would’ve loved to have stayed longer. As other reviews stated we did find that between 23:00 and 03:00 it was rather loud outside, people seeming to congregate below our window even though there was nothing in particular outside the place, however free ear plugs were available to use and since we were out late most of the night this didn’t really affect us. There was a small discount on drinks in the bar below which really made this little place stand out. Bar had great vibes and overall has been a really pleasant trip. Plenty of nearby places to grab some food, with cafes, restaurants and supermarkets all near by. As well as some great places to spend the evening partying, all within a few minutes walking distance from the hotel! Should we ever return to Bridgwater, certainly coming back here!

WOW

If you are expecting to sleep at night, this is not the place for you. Wednesday night is Student night at the night club next door, there is a lot of noise until 3 am. Other than Tuesday which was quiet enough when the bar closed (to be expected) and Wednesday I don't know how bad it gets as I left and paid again to stay somewhere else as I need to be able to concentrate at work the next day...

Ok plain

Only saw staff when checked in. Room had not been cleaned the hole time I was there. On Fridays Saturdays there is a night club,which vibrates your room all night.Never got no sleep when that's open.Rest of my stay I never heard anything.Ok if you just need a room to sleep in. No where to park your car.Have to leave it up the road on one of the side roads.

Basic accommodation. Ok if you just need a bed.

Would benefit from double glazing as on a main road. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Hot drinks were poor with milk a month out of date and the biscuits four months out of date. No one answers the contact number and staff in the bar seemed confused when you try to book in. With some basic management could be a good B and B. If they can provide out of date foodstuff, I wondered what other basics were missed or cut corners.

Clean room, spacious and all mod cons (hairdryer and iron a bonus). Only issue is the nightclub next door, I'd take that into consideration if staying on a Saturday. I didn't get back to the room until 2.50am and they played music til 3.15 and there was noise from the punters until about 3.30. The hotel did provide ear plugs. Overall I was fairly impressed.

Good value, short stay attending local event

Stayed for. Couple of nights. Checking in wasn't possible until 4pm but thereafter it was fine. The room was simply furnished but perfectly functional. Bed fine. Wi-fi poor. Location above wine bar might be issue for some, for us it was no problem as we arrived back late each evening from a local mucus event. The location at a busy junction meant traffic noise but on the plus side it was only a short walk into the town. We managed to find street parking nearby but that wasn't too easy to find. All in all happy and may well return when back in the town.

Nice, clean and central.

The room was really well decorated, very clean and had a good sized en suite. Plenty of tea & coffee, a microwave and even a fridge! The presence of ear plugs was slightly concerning as the rooms are above a cocktail bar, we could here the music from downstairs but it was no way near loud enough to bother us, so if your a light sleeper the ear plugs would probably sort you out. The check in process was a bit of a ballache to be honest, check in was from 4pm so we arrived around then, but then we're told to call a number for a lady who would check us in or she would be there by six (not practical as we had dinner plans and needed to get changed). However, when we were not able to get through on the phone one of the barmen did find a spare key and managed to get us into our room! There was also a very good discount on our first round of cocktails (which were also very good).

I would highly recommend staying at BB letting rooms what you see in the advert you get, clean comfortable, a bit rowdy at early hours but that you expect in any town with a nightclub,

Laid back clean easy

2nd time I've stayed here very great clean room easy to get to Great bar downstairs but u wouldent know from the room as very quiet room had kettle microwave shower many thanks for Irving sorting my key

Good and modern room. Just to note the check in start at 4 p.m and so no way to do it before: the hotel is closed and open only at 4 p.m

Basic accommodation

Bad start to our break when we arrived to find no one at property, then spent an hour on phone to booking agent to have phone put down on us 3 times. Finally spoke to owner who compared our issues with their own issues with a booking they had in London but told us their property cost a lot more, this information was not required or helpful to our situation, then the owner told us he was gonna put the phone down on us and then did. However 90 mins later we were able to check in and the man working in the cocktail bar was much more helpful. But we would never stay here again due to the hassle on our initial arrival plus although room clean it was basic and TV did not work.

Noisy but nice

Rooms large and new Yes it's noisy from surrounding bars and clubs ....but we where there to go out and enjoy the nightlife so never bothered us Cocktail bar downstairs is prob best place in town for nice atmosphere
