“property just down rd from the hard. Hard to find without prior knowledge. Entry was difficult becuase the entry system at first took a lot of doing. It is on a safe system that needs imput from the owners and a no to get the small safe to drop and reveal the key to apt. Not able to get TV or internet until landlady came on sun morning. Phone conversation was not good at all. Frequently breaking down when asking questions. No instructions at all in apt to get started. No hot water...

“I went for a midweek break. Very clean, comfortable, bedding provided. Carol friendly and helpful. I stayed in top apartment (6) which is 4 short flights of stairs. Partial sea view from lounge. 2 mins walk downhill to beach. ”

“No shower curtain and shower was on the tap Plug in the bath didn’t fit Bed uncomfortable Needs a revamp ”

“Host changed the address of the property an hour before check in (5 hours into our travel to the location). The amended property had black mould poorly covered by grouting, no shower screen so water went everywhere, and general "DIY landlord" decorating, with damage to many of the walls being slap dash filled and painted. There was also a general sewage smell across the property but that may have just been the area / location. ”

“Had a fantastic stay for business. Accommodation Central to everything. Needed to work on the isle of Wight, short (20mins) to the ferry. Host was every responsive to my questions. Would consider staying again for either business or a short break. ”

“Apartment was clean and kept in good condition. Decent location near a retail park and a short taxi ride to local bars/pubs. Amenities within the apartment were a good standard. We received clear check-in instructions before arrival and the owners seemed very friendly and attentive over text messages. Very reasonably priced for what you get. The only minor thing is if you are particularly tall you may have to crouch down slightly in the bathroom as the ceiling is slanted but apart from that...

“A lovely and safe property, exactly as described. It was comfortable and well presented. It was extremely clean and nicely situated and the hosts were lovely and very responsive. I'd highly recommend this property and it's high quality provision and location as great value for money. ”

“The host never responded to any communications. I tried calling, SMS, email and hotel.com chat. The agent also tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I had to wait until 4pm on the day of arrival before the agent agreed to re-book. After that I then had to wait for hotels.com to respond. Gave up and asked for a refund. These people will leave you oit of pocket, on the street, in the dark. Dangerous and unethical practice especially for lone female travellers.”
