"As a repeat customer at Grand Chancellor Launceston everything was as expected ,very good ,,,, when it was time for bed we were very surprised as the bed was also host to a lot of ants ,, after some time later we relocated to another room this was a big inconvenience as I am a disabled person,,,, I thought this would have at least have been a very sorry apology from the management, but did not happen ,,quite disappointed,, ( 27 may. room no 1017 ,) thank for allowing me review my experience. maybe my next accommodation choice will have to be reconsidered. "Love the upstairs section. Spa superb. Only thing was bar fridge froze some of our food. This is our favourite place to stay on East Coast. St Helen’s is one of the best towns to be in too. Great locality to everything"

"The rooms were adequate for our stay but a little bit dated. The carpet has seen better days, and our shower leaked out water and had nowhere to drain. The bathroom was very small. The staff in the bar and restaurant were very friendly and helpful though. The food served was pretty food."
