South Mumbai, Mumbai hotel rooms at the Independent

"Everything was perfect! The staff from outside to inside were amazing! I would highly recommend staying at the St Regis. I am travelling by myself and felt totally safe. The property is stunning and to top it off it is joint to the mall which is super handy. Thank you to all the staff for looking after me an can’t wait to visit again x"

"The stay started off very well, staff were excellent, informative and check in was easy and smooth. The staff asked if we'd like drinks to our room and we had a nice hot tea and fresh orange juice. The room itself was fantastic, size was big, with all the amenities you can expect and more. Views from the front door of the room, overlook the pavillion restaurant on the lobby level, as we were on the 16th floor of the Towers. The biggest downside was that the room was a non-smoking room as required, however, during the evening and night, the AC vent felt like it was allowing smoke into the room from somewhere, and though it couldn't be seen, it was definitely smokey in the room. For an asthmatic and a toddler, this wasn't at all pleasant. My daughter was coughing through the night and I had to use my inhaler multiple times, spoiling our sleep. We had booked half-board and dinner service was excellent, food and staff were great. Breakfast was decent also, good options. "

"I enjoyed my three night stay at Hotel President. The property is well maintained and my room was very comfortable and the staff pleasant. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. There are three main restaurants and a bakery/ coffee shop. I ate at the Italian and Indian restaurant. Some places are walkable or a short taxi ride away. There is a Metro station close by but I did not use it. One of the questions Expedia asked was about the ocean view from my balcony. I did not have a balcony or an ocean view. I did have a comfortable suite with a nice city view. It’s possible that some rooms have an ocean view and/ or a balcony but I am not certain of this. "

"Very courteous staff. Good clean hotel in south Mumbai. We enjoyed our stay for the second time at this hotel. Good choice of breakfast. A wonderful view of the queen’s necklace from the ocean view rooms is the sunset too. "
