Very nice stay

Nice lady checked us in. Nice & warm in all areas. Nice bedroom. Had 18 stairs to climb though, not really suitable for the elderly, so ask for a first floor room. Television a bit small for the room but had lots of channels. Quiet area so had a good sleep every night. Convenient for the Mayflower theatre & not too far to the main shopping area if you enjoy a short walk. Close to the railway station too.

Not Recommend

Some features of the hotel room and the shower room need to be fixed and not been fixed. The electricity wires of one of the bed side light are exposed and caused safety concern. I did not use that bed side light. The is no plug for the drain hole of the washing basin inside the room. You cannot stop things dropping into the drain hole. The was not shampoo and shower gel in the shower rooms. The water pressure in one of the shower rooms is too weak. It is definitely not good enough for winter.

Good price in a quiet location, just a 10 minute walk from the city centre. Limited parking on the street. Mattress really needed replacing. Sensor activated bathroom light wasn't long enough, so the light would switch off whilst still in the shower.

Nice, cosy clean place.

Nice place kept super clean and tidy. Sadly didn't sleep well as every time I turned over the tiny quilt fell off the bed. Heating wasn't on/working. Be careful, some of the rooms are not on-suite and it doesn't tell you that on the booking site.

Clean, close to the train station and Shopping.

Check-in advertised to be between 15-22:00Hrs but got an email from the owner that they will not be available for check-in after 7pm so I should arrive before then. Private shower/ bathroom are not en-suite so pictures on website misleading. Hot weather not adnudting well in one bathroom. Keeps switching to cold water. No shower gel in the toiletries provided. Good WiFi Parking spaces for 4 cars. Owner friendly. Good breakfast. Bedroom not soundproof, able to hear noises from upper floor. I will suggest a king bed instead of a double bed for better sleep comfort since there is enough space. Will recommend a later check out than 10 am. I will suggest 11 or 12o’clock. Overall good stay,

Nice hotel close to city centre and the New Forest

This hotel is close to city centre if you are going on a cruise or to visit the New Forest. Breakfast very good with lots of choices. Would definitely recommend.

Gute Mittelklasse Unterkunft

Zimmer war schlicht und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Hatte aber wegen der Hitze einen Ventilator, was den Aufenthalt im Zimmer angenehm machte. Frühstück war gut und reichlich in netter Umgebung. Etwa 2‘ Minuten Gehweg vom Zentrum entfernt. Leider keine busverbindung in der Nähe. Oder ich habe sie nicht gefunden. Alles in allem stimmt für einen stop over das Preis-leistungsverhältnis.
