“Had a wonderful time just north of The Dells a wee bit. My wife and I highly recommend The Lodge at Mauston! If you’re looking for a getaway just a short drive from southern or central Wisconsin, or wherever you’re from. Go to the nearby state parks and roam around the countryside or visit The Dells. “Nice place for a reasonable price. I am particularly sensitive to when hotel rooms feel damp during heat waves. And this one definitely did not. Breakfast was good and staff was nice and professional.”

“Very welcoming and pristine entryway. The staff were prompt and very courteous, I was impressed. The room was very clean, temperature controlled perfectly and comfortable. Wyndham just started forcing guests to sign up for their loyalty program to use the internet. That is a horrible move and irritating, but not the fault of the local management. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.”

“This place is a hidden gem, and the staff is amazing. Rooms are clean and big. While there are not many restaurants in the area, the Chinese place in the plaza with McD can be recommended! Breakfast and coffee are good. There is tons of parking, so no worries is you have a trailer or whatever. For a one night stop, this place is fantastic. The staff here is incredible. Shout outs to Linda and Ruth Ann who went to extraordinary lengths to help me retrieve my medical bag. Thank you so much!”
