"The room was very nice and clean. Patio area was nice except that there were so many ants. I actually got bit by one. Maybe need to have a pest control company to spray the property to control them. The property staff was very nice and friendly. We didn’t mind the geikos soo many on the property that one actually was hiding in the hole at the doorway."
"Positives:
Central location to restaurants.
Easy access to Siest Key (just 7 minutes).
I enjoyed having a continental breakfast available daily.
The pool was very clean and seemed tobe well maintained.
Having food available on premises was great!
Front desk staff was in constant communication and took care of our special requests of a quiet room, extra pollows.
Pets allowed (although I did not bring mine on this trip).
Overall a good price range.
Not so much:
The air conditioner was way too loud. It was constantly turing on and off.
The finishes in the room (wall by the ironing board seemed to be unfinished) I am sure is not Hilton standard.
The bed was lumpy.
The vending and ice machine on the 4th floor had been removed.
The shower water temperature would change and get very hot in the middle of showering.
The room did not have enough storage (no drawers and not enough hangers-only 6)"
"Everything was wonderful except you are paying a resort fee and renting chairs and umbrellas for a so called “private beach” that is the furthest from private. People just walk on bringing their own big umbrellas (blocking the sun) their own chairs not having to pay a resort fee. It’s really not private so if that’s what you’re looking for definitely go elsewhere. Staff was great, Gracie’s the Italian restaurant is unbelievable not to mention we had the best waiter Parker! If you want delicious food and wonderful service I highly suggest this establishment."
"Only thing we were disappointed in was the 7pm pool closing time. For such hot weather, we were very surprised to not have the chance for some evening swimming.
Food at the BRGR Lounge was great! We appreciated the blue & white towels for the beach and the ease in switching them out.
Thank you,
Steve & Susan Peters"
