Southwest Missouri, Missouri hotel rooms at the La Quinta Inn & Suites

"The property was clean and so was the room, mostly. The sitting chair and foot stool were is desperate need of a cleaning. There were a lot of stains on both. I sat there, but used one of the blankets to cover the chair. The power port on the night table was broken, would not hold the electric plug, and the USB ports were missing their internal pieces therefor none of it worked. I unplugged that plug from the power strip and plugged in my phone charger directly. Breakfast was fine. Free is usually fine. They are about the only hotel I have stayed who didn't offer waffles. No big deal. I do appreciate 24/7 coffee/cappuccino/hot chocolate in the lobby. That was nice. We have stayed here previously and are planning to stay there again. It is a short 10 minutes to MSU and easy access off I-44."

"I guess it was clean enough, but it lacked somethig. The breakfast was not impressive, more “do it yourself” rather than service oriented. Not a great selection. Coffee was either cold or empty. We could not leave fast enough."

"Failed to tell us the water was out due to utility work but came on quickly. Maintenance was fast. Peaceful during off season and middle of the week and plenty of activities."
