"So close to the park you’re at sunrise point within 10 minutes. That’s the selling point. Would be extremely crowded in the high season Kind of an old fashioned resort, they were fixing up the lake (it was March so it wouldn’t be needed). Everything you need from restaurants to laundry to car repairs to horseback riding is within easy walking distance "

"We didn’t indulge, but amenities looked great , especially for families. We were in the old sections. Outdated but clean and well kept."

"Parking right in front. Cows out back! A big noisy truck parked across the street for part of the evening but earplugs took care of that. The bathroom sink had hot and cold cross-plumbed but the attendant lady helped us sort that out. Likewise when we needed more than a single pack of coffee for two mornings. Be aware that there is not much in Tropic, UT so the kitchen comes in handy! The next town over is not much more developed. We kind of liked the isolation."

"Walk to the park was perfect! If you have a park pass for the whole car we did have to drive in if it was later due to cost of per person if you walk in. "
