Maja at reception was incredible She was extremely helpful with the check in, she gave us loads of recommendations, helped up with our ticket for parking which had become damp in the storm and even wished us well on our travels on the last night. The breakfast was lovely in the garden and the hotel staff were generally very accommodating

We had the most amazing time at this hotel. Beautiful, comfortable rooms , strong AC, located in the middle of the historic district , walking distance to the best sights. A nice balcony was a bonus. We had a 2 day stop over in Split before our trip to zagreb and slovenia and decided to stay at Hotel Marul based on reviews..Its a small hotel with limited facilities. More like bed and breakfast. Staff at reception and breakfast was good. Location is very close to major tourist spots which is a plus. Rooms r small and very basic. No points there. Overall an ok experience

The hotel has a great location, within a very short walk of the old town. The hotel garden is pretty and was a wonderful location for a plein air breakfast. The city, of course, is absolutely wonderful. I would heartily recommend both hotel and city!
