Candlewood Suites is in a convenient location, with a variety of restaurants you can walk to. There was grass for my dog and areas to walk him. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay there again!
The Candlewood Suites South was a huge disappointment. We saw the 9.2 review on Expedia and expected a nice place. Our room was filthy. There was dog hair everywhere and the carpet by the window smelled like dog urine. It was obvious they never vacuum behind or under any furniture. There were huge chunks of old food behind the couch. On our third night, we contacted the front desk to report the second floor hallway had a strong marijuana smell. They said they would come spray air freshener. The marijuana smell became worse so we decided to pack up and leave for a new hotel at 9:30 at night. The hotel manager offered to move us to the fourth floor, but we were just appalled about the condition of this hotel.
We have stayed here multiple times and will continue to do so. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in great location. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.
The front desk staff and everyone who works there went above and beyond for us. The rooms was clean, had everything we needed plus the borrow locked downstairs was a huge help! Love the location and definitely will be coming again, mainly for the hospitality and the home like feeling

The room was amazing and so clean. The staff were all very friendly. And from the parking lot through the lobby and to the room everything was so immaculate. We will definitely stay again if in town! Thank y’all so much!!

I had stayed here previously and was absolutely thrilled with the cleanliness of the room. This time however, my bathroom was not as clean, and the linens on the bed smelled used.
I will stay here again for the convenience and the front desk staff is fabulous!

Had a borrowing cabinet with kitchen appliances and games to play. Was almost as convenient as being at home. A hug perk for us was bringing our 2 dogs. We also enjoyed walking to Hurts Donuts for breakfast and the several dining options within a short walk. Very friendly and accommodating staff at front desk. Will definitely return!

The staff members are super friendly, it’s PET FRIENDLY - our dog enjoyed her stay, the room was very clean, the kitchenette was convenient, and it felt very safe.

I always stay at this hotel when I come to Springfield. It is clean, comfortable and conveniently located. The staff is friendly and helpful and the Mexican restaurant across the parking lot is excellent.

The room and property was nice. Location was convenient. Only negative is that it was a little noisy. Maybe just because it was a Saturday night and the hotel seemed to be pretty full.

Stay was great only complaint was bathroom vent kept flapping late at night. Let them know and said they’re working on fixing it. Been here before just under medical reasons prior. Liked hotel so much I went for weekend getaway. Close to Branson and still close to bing city of Springfield. Will be back again soon.

Booked through Expedia & it stated they had a hot breakfast. Very disappointed that this was not the case. We spent enough on the room then had to go buy breakfast. I understand it was an Expedia issue but it was still a disappointment.
