The hotel is an excellent value for your money and the rooms, in-house restaurant and other services are of very high quality.
The only caveat is that it is located a bit outside the city on a busy highway bypass. Although the rooms themselves were quiet, the area around is very busy and not very walkable or have other eating options etc nearby. Getting taxis at short notice is also a problem. The front desk can, however, arrange transportation if notified in advance.

Our stay at Four Points by Sheraton Amritsar was short and sweet. We stayed for three days and had a wonderful experience from start to finish.

So something is definitely wrong and needs to be investigated to find what is causing that smell. Smelled like sewage. I had to turn the AC off to...
