"If like us you are just looking for a place to rest in comfort while you are traveling, then this is it! Very clean, basic furnishings with no TV. A cooktop, microwave, and fridge, but no oven are provided.
As we arrived after midnight, and had difficulty with the room code after entering the building, we called the 'emergency number' and got in the 'next available operator' loop for half an hour so no one responds if their is an actual emergency.
Office opens at 9am and email responses get answered only then.
Fortunately we worked through the emails received prior to arrival and found the electronic access (via a phone app) in an email link. If we hadn't had the phone we were sleeping in the hallway until 9am!
Do not miss the opportunity to walk the neighborhood as the grocery store is right next door, and the Old Timber Mill is not to be missed! The bus to Oslo (or the local terminal) runs every 10 minutes, stops in front of the apartment, and connections to everywhere are many.
An entirely great visit and we hope that the communication and contact information improves, because emergencies do happen, and at 3 am, no answer is not a good response, nor a great impression..."
