"Our stay at the vine was lovely, Pros convenient right in the centre, Loverly friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, tea coffee facilities. Cons, steep narrow stairs upto the top floor, really squeaky floor boards in the room kept waking others up in the room when getting up to use the bathroom in the night. Second time I’ve stayed and would definitely visit again. "

"The bathroom was very dated. It looked like a nursing home. The flooring was extremely old. The bed was too low. Only one bath towel for 2 people. It was definitely not up to standard for a Hub. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcomed. But this hotel needs serious renovations. "

Firstly, it was (and still is) advertised as having FREE WIFI. This is important to me as I was here for work and need internet access when I’m working away. Reality - there is no internet! I did find an EE mobile wifi router in one of the kitchen drawers, but once I switched it on and connected to it,...
