"We loved the room’s view, privacy, easy access, on-site dining and at 78 loved the tram going up to the bridge…we went back everyday! (We were able to go down the stairs at the top and squeeze through the passage to stand under the bridge but that was a challenge for us.) They also have cabins but the ones we saw had huge staircases to get to them. I would love to swim in the huge pool when it is open."

"The room was clean and comfortable. It was pet-friendly and convenient enough for a trip to Morehead where everything was sold out (about a 35 min drive). Be prepared, though, the walls and ceiling seem SUPER thin so you can hear everything - meaning when my upstairs neighbors got up at 7am on Sunday...so did I. But in contrast, Thursday night was super quiet. "

"We were traveling with our dog and couldn’t have asked for a nicer or cleaner room. The staff was amazing and happily gave pets to our dog. We will be back."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful but the property is extremely run down. That being said, the price we paid for the room was very cheap. There were cigarette burns all over the bed spread and the AC struggled to cool the room even though it was pleasant outside and it blew musty smelling air into the room every time it turned on. Breakfast was silly...choices were toast and jelly, powdered donuts, or oatmeal. There was coffee, and something in a pitcher that was supposed to be orange juice. Stayed there on the recommendation of a friend that had it confused with the Days Inn."

"The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable and close to Cattleman’s! Great stay!"

"We rolled in around 9pm and they let me park my truck and 18' boat in front of the hotel under a light for security. The girl at the front desk was a hoot and sincerely welcomed us. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet enough for us to get a good night's rest. Tip: Even though the free breakfast looked good, the next morning we decided to go to the Cracker Barrel directly next door. Yum. The whole experience started us off for a great day on the last leg of our road trip."

"There was a slight odor of marijuana all on the 2nd floor -which was a little disappointing-but we ran the fan continuously and that took care of it for the most part. Wonder why the pool couldn’t be open a little earlier in the morning? Breakfast was great! Quiet room! Beautiful setting, easy access from interstate."
