“1 night stay for a ' hallf way' meet up with friends. Lovely friendly pub, made feel welcome, really comfortable bed with good quality bedding. Breakfast good quality and lovely and hot. Only criticism would be, would have been nice to have had a pot of tea rather than individual cups at breakfast. Thank you for a really nice stay !”

“Really friendly staff. Lovely sunroom to sit in near reception. Comfortable room with a modern and very clean bathroom. Helpful touch of a much needed fan in the room. Quiet in the room despite not being far from the main road. Helpful that Sainsbury’s is only a five minute walk away, but don’t forget to log your car on the iPads in reception before popping to the shop. ”

“A lovely hotel right in the heart of the town. Very good customer service. Be warned that there are steps throughout the building which made it tricky for our aged parents however we managed to change their room to one without steps to the bathroom with no fuss. Bar service was excellent, we didn't get to down there but the food looked great. ”
